Guys, here's a link to ZAZZLE. They have hundreds of Batman greeting cards. You can type on 1966 Batman if you wish. Here's just the Batman search:

Re: Triggering the Old Batmania Feelings

so tell me this ...can you get in a car WITHOUT putting on your safety belt? ..the answer for me is no, because in the 60s I watched batman Heck, I can't see a helicopter flying without humming the music from the movie, nor start a car with hearing the atomic batteries to power bit in my head lol

Re: 1977 Batman Wrist Shooting Grappling Hook Toy

Man, I love all the old comic ads and all the cheapie toys we used to get at the 5 and dime store or the occasional find in the grocery or drug store toy section. I would have been over the moon back then to have found some of these Bat-items. I think as a kid cheapness didn't matter, only as long ...

Re: Triggering the Old Batmania Feelings

I completely understand. I get that feeling everytime I hear the music from the series (not just the theme.) The Battrap music first used in the Purrfect Crime and Better Luck Next Time, and recycled for other episodes, sends chills down my spine.

Re: Adam West High School Family Guy Adam West Tribute

The episode has Brian "dis" Woods for about 10 seconds, but the rest of the Adam tribute was really touching. The ending scene is actually Adam, and the ending credits had a great Batman theme tribute. Thanks Y.O. You are the man! Just wanted the thread to get some attention.

Re: Twilight actor may be next screen Batman

So then Y.O. write that on thread...??

Thought it was a nice episode and good tribute to Adam throughout.....only slam to Woods was 10 seconds of Brian...

Great ending theme, anyway...discuss this on the thread....I give up!

Re: Twilight actor may be next screen Batman

What I find odd is that on a 66 Batman board, this subject gets replies and a post about an Adam West tribute:

Has none?

The Batmobile license plate reads:
2F-3567
Gotham 1966

License plates are issued by states, not cities. This implies that Gotham City is in the state of Gotham.
Dell, your unflappable logic astounds me sir.

So glad Lee does these appearances. She is truly one of the nicest people you'd ever meet in your lifetime.

Re: Parkview Elementary Batman: The Scheme is Sound

Great job!! I enjoyed the music more than the Bat Swings CD. This music was almost spot on in places and when it wasn't, it was sooo close! I'm with you Jim. The added lyrics made it all the more maniacal. Creepy in fact! Kudos to this group!

Re: 1977 Batman Wrist Shooting Grappling Hook Toy

Good memory Jim. Yeah, here's #1, most definitely Kubert...also, here's an inside page featuring the 1974 Janex talking alarm clock. Just as an aside, I fell for the false advertising of the clock that boasted, "Wake up to the actual voices of the Dynamic Duo"...I was disappointed it wasn't West and...

Adam West High School Family Guy Adam West Tribute

On Family Guy, season 17, episode 20, entitled, "Adam West High" the episode centers around changing the High School's name from James Woods High School to Adam West High. It's streaming now on Hulu. Remember, NSFW or for any children...it's still Family Guy. Great scene at the end of the episode fe...

Re: 1977 Batman Wrist Shooting Grappling Hook Toy

It's obvious that EON's James Bond Moonraker "borrowed" this concept with James Bond's wrist dart launcer...The toys were from 1977, Moonraker wouldn't appear until 1979 lol.

Re: Courtroom scenes and other bat-law questions

The scenes featuring Harry's "criminal attorney" Mr. Sly, in the Chandell episodes, might be fertile ground for legal analysis. And as an aside here, the Zip Code came about in 1963, and people were still complaining about the "long numbers" you had to use as referenced in that episode....9999999.....
