Re: CITY OF LOS ANGELES TO PAY TRIBUTE TO ADAM WEST

I so wish that I could have been there. Nonetheless, thanks for the posts for all of us who could not make it.

Re: Adam has died

Since we're sharing our memories, I would like to share these: The first time I got to meet Mr. West was at a Wizard World Convention in Columbus, Ohio (2010 IIRC) and I was dressed as the Riddler. He saw me and raised his eyebrows and said "Oh MY! Look who's here!" I said: "Riddle Me THIS! What hap...

Holy Stairway To HEAVEN!

I half expect Madge Blake to stick her head out of a window in the clouds and say "I KNEW it was YOU all along!" :D

Re: Adam has died

Farewell Adam West...There are no words that I could say that would reflect how much joy and laughter you gave to me and countless others for decades. May God welcome you into His Heavenly Kingdom and furnish you with your Great Bat Cave In The Sky! You will be missed, Old Chum.

Rest In Peace, Sir.

Re: Newbie

Cesar Romero is my favorite----I think he captured the villainous frivolity of the character. That said, I thought Heath Ledger did a decent job as The Dark Knight Joker. Nonetheless, I confess to being "old school."

Welcome aboard, Alex.

Hopefully London this time as he didn't have such a great visit to Londinium the last time. Death bees, poison fog pellets, etc.
True, but maybe some hot British chicks might consider holding a fellow prisoner ;)

Re: Ideas For a Third Batman '66 Animated Film

I know that I'm a little late to this discussion, but the idea of producing a new series with younger performers acting in it but taking place in the same exact universe as Batman '66 is a fantasy of mine. I admit that other necessities of life have prevented me from posting any more fan fiction her...

Re: Remembering George Sanders

I have to wonder something about George Sanders. The story says that his suicide note said "I'm bored." HOW could somebody like that be bored!?

She looked like Elizabeth Taylor?
Maybe "resembled" is a better word. Which is subjective. Like Barbara Nichols "resembled" Marilyn Monroe. Steve Bushemi "resembles" Don Knotts.

Funny you should use Don Knotts---Joan Staley played his love interest in "The Ghost & Mr. Chicken"

Tell me, Mr. Glee: Why is a necktie like an old rubber tire?

Answer: Because they both CHOKE!

(One of my favorite exchanges from one of my favorite episodes)

Rest in Peace, Mr. Montaigne.
