Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

Those look great. What stands are you using? The ones I find are bigger around than I would like, making it hard for the figures to be centered nicely on the stand. Thanks! I got mine on eBay "Buy it now". In bags of 20. They are "Star Stands Type 1", made to fit the original Kenner "Star Wars" fig...

Re: Autographs of the 1966 Batman Villain Actors / Actresses

How daunting, to draw a cartoon beside an existing autograph! I recently found this signed printout of Ida Lupino's Dr Cassandra on eBay, and I framed it up with some funny money and the Mope Diamond. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/932/41971510380_0978d1ab1f.jpg Ida Lupino as Dr Cassandra by Ian McL...

Is there a Certificate of Authenticity?

Re: BATMANIA

In 1989, two Aussie Batman fans - to their great surprise - managed to get "kind permission", from DC Comics' Phyllis Hume, to run a Batman club we called "Battalion" (she said that was a clever title that stretched the "no Bat-prefixes" rule) and published a newsletter called "Utility Belt". Someo...

Re: Jada 1/18 Batmobile

I've heard the Red vs Orange debate so many times over the years, I couldn't count them all. Yes, it originally was orange BUT as Andy pointed out, it filmed red. Same tone as "Star Trek": the bridge safety rails and the front of the helm/navigation console. They look red on TV but were apparently ...

Re: SCRIPT: THE FUNNY FELINE FELONIES

I love the aghast first-draft note "NO!" at the notion of goons removing our heroes' boots. I remember a panel in the "Batman '66" comic where our heroes take their boots off to reveal bare feet, ie. that their tights are the footless variety, leading to fan arguments. If "Lafcadio" means anything,...

Didn't Burt have a Batgirl with him doing appearances right after the show stopped airing? I seem to remember a picture of him with her and the costume was terrible.
Yes, I hunted that down the other day. Looked nothing like the person in question. Ditto the outfit.

Re: ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 Coming this Summer

Why they did cancel the Bats66? Sales? Well, if they keep doing these miniseries, I think they could do small arcs instead of matching the heroes with different franchises. The comics industry found out a long time ago that #1 issues sell very well, so a series of mini-series means more covers with...

Re: FIRST LOOK at the ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 Finale

I ordered this earlier this AM from Amazon. It says it is a softcover, no hardback this time. Also, the date is April 16 at Amazon. Happy to get it earlier, and prefer a hardcover. Will it have all the cover variants? https://www.amazon.com/Archie-Meets-Batman-Jeff-Parker/dp/1682558479/ref=sr_1_1?s...

Re: I'm glad that Julie didn't do the movie

Likewise, when she appeared in S2 in the Tut episode it's clear that was a last minute type of thing (there is no name for the actress playing Lisa Carson on the initial call sheets even with all other cast members named at this point) because she had to do that episode sandwiched around her commit...
