Re: Batgirl Batty Award replica
This is something I'm also working on. Proportions look great. Base is terrific. I'm having a great deal of trouble sourcing an appropriate column. Not to nitpick, but rather as an observation that might help, I'm pretty sure "BATTY" is also italic. And if you have any flexibility in the s...

Re: Robin Costume Build
I am NOT an expert, but I've done some research, maybe enough to help you with a close-enough for a child. The original green shirt was an off-the-rack Fruit-of-the-Loom tee. When I went shopping for one, I could not find a good color match to the original, which I assume was dyed, as it's a muted g...

Re: FTC Catwoman! - Catwomen.
I hope they change the hair color on the Newmar Catwoman - way too dark. Looks more like Lee's color.

Re: News about upcoming Batman Toys
...it's not cheap, but 6' is about 1/2 scale (little under)... Not to be a stickler, here, but the Batmobile is 19' long, so, this inflatable is considerably less than 1/2 scale. Yes, the price is crazy - the 13' tall inflatable Ghostbusters Stay Puft marshmallow man was only $150! Of course, that ...

Re: Rest in Peace - Fred Westbrook
I kind of thought something might be up, as Fred was absent from Adam's recent high-profile appearances. Still shocking. At last year's Chiller Theatre photo op with Adam, Burt, and Julie, when I walked into the room with my replica prop, Fred was the one who exclaimed, "A super powered bat mag...

Re: FINALLY able to talk about this...
Wally, I was in the audience at the NYCC premiere screening this evening. I had not seen this thread before the screening, so I had no idea you voiced the Riddler. Every time he spoke, I kept thinking, "Who on earth did they get? That's so perfect!" Terrific job! Congrats, and I hope you g...

Re: Batcharge Launcher
The prop from that auction you cited has never been proven to be a screen used prop. Burt said it was one given to him by a prop guy. I seriously doubt it is screen used. For one, it's black. The prop as used on screen is clearly deep blue. Many of the other details don't match up with what can be s...

I think everyone's in a better mood when Fred's not around. Sorry, I know that sounds mean, but, it's what I've observed. Glad you had a good experience!

Re: Did anyone else hear about this? The #1 Batmobile is FINALLY getting RESTORED!!!
As much as I prefer the first season look, it should probably be taken to the third season finish to keep the screen used steering wheel, pad on the canopy and roll bar placement. They are what they are. To try and re create parts like the steering wheel etc when you have the actual wheel used in t...

Re: batzooka bat measurements
Well, that old thread contains no hard info re: dimensions, but it ought to be fairly simple to make a reasonably close estimate. Note that the bats are actually all different sizes, not all the same as indicated in that schematic shown in that old thread. You HAVE the toy, so just look at the relat...
