Re: What I wish would have happened...

That would have made an EXCELLENT ending to the series.

EGGS-CELLENT and PURR-FECT.

when Batman calls "Dynamic Seniority" corrects the Maharaja's spelling- "B, A, -One T! M, A, N." any shot of Jill St. John in the Robin suit- Whew. Dynamic Seniority - ROFLMHO. Did NOT remember hearing that before. I know that had to (Put) Robin off. Batguitarist mentioned Robin shouting "Holy Guad...

You can't have a detective story without alliterations, even a spoof of detective stories. I offer no dissertation on the subject, but I think they're cool.

Re: Things/People who annoyed you

There's Commissioner Gordon's alliterative references to every villain that can get to be a bit much You mean like "That pompous waddling master of foul play, maestro of the criminal umbrellas"? There was Sandman, "that cunning Continental criminal." I loved it when he called Catwoman that Marshall...

Re: BATMAN: Season 3 - which was best?

Yes, I feel like Robin received the least attention in Season 3, which is a shame. I think his impetuousness would've gotten him in trouble with Nora Clavicle and I would've enjoyed a return appearance from The Siren, wanting revenge on him. It's too bad the energy from Season 1 couldn't have been ...

That'll be on the re-remaster for the series' 100th anniversary - on the Criterion Collection.

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DV

I skimmed through this thread as I only have a few minutes to leave for work, but I watched he Cat and the Fiddle last night and noticed Robin's cape falls off when they were being strangled on the window ledge. "Careful, Robin, it's quite a drop...and your cape is getting loose." It comes off as th...

Re: Things/People who annoyed you

About the only thing that really annoyed me about the show was how Part 1 would usually have one fight against a group of henchmen that Batman and Robin lost. Part 2 would have the same henchmen being defeated by Batman and Robin. I'd always wonder what changed between the two fights that allowed B...

Re: BATMAN: Season 3 - which was best?

"Another character that was a standout--probably deserving her own storyline was Lady Prudence, who would have provided a bit of romantic tension for Robin, but not losing an edge of danger, so she would not fall into the schoolgirl crush zone." Yes - pre-CISELY - - - Lady Prudence was more of a thr...

Re: Things/People who annoyed you

I hated Chickadee from Penguin's Nest I hated Joker's moll in the episode in which Robin is nearly pressed into a comic book I hated the entire Ma Barker episode I do agree with this: " I'm not saying Batman should have been cracking one-liners, but he should *never* have had the joke on him. Robin ...
