I think a more practical reason to not use gray and blue in live-action boils down to special effects necessity. Yes, you could shoot Batman against greenscreen in solo scenes, but what happens when you have him in the same FX shots with Robin, the Joker, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, or Killer Croc -- c...
