Wow talk about irony-I also own a Hungarian knockoff PPK from 1986. I have two Walther Ppks one is stainless steel from 2006 and the other is black and brand new.

That's great! I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat. Ben Cooper is back and making Marvel Costumes now.

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

The Pin is a lot of fun. I wanted to get a new set of duds for my Neca batman, but couldnt remember the guy who was making them. That was a while back Hopefully if the board member see's your note they will chime in. It was a lot of work for them, and I don't know if they're still doing it, but here...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

Many many years ago I was going through a pretty dark period financially and had to sell some things I thought I'd never sell. One of them was extremely hard to come by-- a virtual one of a kind item. I'd sold it to a collector in another country for a very good price. We kept in touch for a while t...

Re: BATMAN'S COMIC BOOK ADVENTURES

The backup story (why did they ever stop doing these?) is by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson-- an absolute stellar team. This story frightened me as a kid, because I didn't understand why Batman had a gun on Batgirl, and when Superman appears he looks like a gangster (in the second half). Maybe I could...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

I feel your pain, John. A lot of us have been there. In the end, they are all just things. I photographed a lot of what I got rid of (all vintage stuff) during my lowest point-- having great photos made letting the stuff go much easier. Then Chip Kidd's book came along and that took care of a lot of...

Re: Folding Robin Batarang

Yup he had a small non folding one-- I don't remember too many instances of him using it, but I'm pretty sure there's a scene where Batman tells him to get ready for a fight and he produces it from his belt. https://i0.wp.com/thefutureoftheforce.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/burt-ward-to-appear-on-...

Are those wonderland figures particularly pricy or hard to find? They look nifty and I might try and track them down.
They got a very limited release so there are not a lot of them-- they are in the $60-$100 range when you can find them. Each one talks in the actors voice.

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

Great stuff folks, thanks for sharing. I love that waste basket and the DC Comics 100pagers are a favorite of mine. Those were how I discovered Batman's golden age, which IMO is his best period. For the modern stuff, love the Hot Toys figures -- and Wally convinced me to go with the Tony Mei suit re...
