Re: Animated 66 Batman Movie: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders
Wow, I love that. Was that Robin driving? Holy Film cell reversal. The shot of the duo approaching the Batpoles is "BAT-TASTIC!" ...but it's STRANGE that the subsequent 3 shots of Batman & Robin... ... landing at the base of the poles... ...getting into the Batmobile... ...AND the Bat...

Re: Batman complete blu Ray <$60
Does anyone know if WHV put out corrected sets of the show on Blu ray or DVD with all the "Next week" villain promos in their proper places within the episodes? I know they corrected them for the digital copies but I was wondering if they did that for the DVD and Blu ray releases as well?

Re: You know you're too much of a Batman 66 fan when...
I have always been intrigued how Batman and Robin always ran to wherever they wanted to go instead of walking. They run out of Commission Gordon's office. They run to the Batmobile after sliding down the Batpoles. They run into buildings all the time. I catch myself doing it as well. I park my car a...

Re: For all the Batfans on the board!
Riddle me this:
Q: Do you know why people froze to death at the movie theaters when the Batman movie was released in 1966?
A: Because there was a fan in every seat!

Re: Question about Blu Ray replacement discs...
I did a really stupid thing. When the replacement disc for Season 2 disc 2 arrived I put it with the others in the DVD case. Now that I'm ready to watch that disc, I can't remember which is the new disc and which is the old disc. I put them both in the machine and the menus look identical. Is there...

Re: Did anybody notice...???
I just noticed in the third season episode PENGUIN'S CLEAN SWEEP that Batman calls Commissioner Gordon on a landline black phone to discuss the Penguin issue but Commissioner Gordon is talking to Batman on the red phone in his office. Batman dials the Commissioner's phone number directly so Gordon s...

Re: 1966 Batman 50th Anniversary Event??
I hope I am not stepping on your toes, Bat Buddy 2012, but I was going to look into hosting a panel in Seattle at Emerald City Comic Con in 2016 for the 50th anniversary of the Batman TV show as well. If there are people living in the Seattle area that would like to help out with ideas and organizin...

Re: Zelda The Great Confusion
All great questions indeed, but we still love the stuff...lol At least I do. Yes, indeed, we love this show. I just saw the episodes with the Joker going to Woodrow Roosevelt High School. As I was watching the episode I was wondering why nobody bothered to take out of the pub the jukebox that had J...

Zelda The Great Confusion
I was watching the episodes with Zelda the Great the other night and I got baffled by something. In the first part of the episode, Zelda shows up at to look at the Star of Samarkand and then takes off the black outfit. Batman stands before her image by the mirror and she disappears with the trick mi...

Re: Season 3 a breath of fresh air?
I just got to the much maligned season 3 and honestly I don't think its quite as bad as what everybody makes it out to be. I really love the new episode format which immediately makes the whole show seem fresh. Halfway through season 2 I really started to get tired of the cliffhanger (heroes in dan...

Re: ABC Network Summer Reruns and Bumper Mystery
I seem to recall a "Next Week Bumper" that ran at the end of the second season summer reruns to announce that Burgess Meredith would be playing the Penguin and that Yvonne Craig would star as Batgirl. I remember my brother and I getting excited about the new hero on the show. Does anyone k...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DV
Until this bluray release, I had never noticed before that in the Season 3 opening credits when it says on the screen 'Yvonne Craig as Batgirl" that just before Batgirl and her cycle go off screen (moving right to left) that Batgirl turns her head towards the camera and offers a smile. I had al...
