Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Another observation--in the Wayne Manor playset, looks like Bruce's batpole is thicker than Dick's---just like on tv! Customizing tip: The yellow Batpoles in the McFarlane Batcave playset (and also the Mezco playset gold poles) are identical sizes, but in the show, Dick’s Batpole is noticeably thin...

Did you cut it, or did it come that way?
I trimmed my colour Robin’s cape. Drove me insane that he had a scalloped cape!

Re: Batman 13 March 1960

That is one nice story. Have they been reissued in book form that I could buy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_(comic_strip) My first hardcover volume had to go straight into storage when it arrived - but a quick riffle at the time of purchase, I didn't find the Batgirl intro strips that I rem...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Did we ever figure out why this was on the list last year?: - Catwoman Season 1 (SDCC, Gold Label) She was going to be a convention advance exclusive, I guess with a gold sticker (instead of the platinum one, as seen on Unmasked Riddler, Masked Joker and Unmasked Robin). So maybe the same Newmar fi...

Any chance of showing some of the Sunday newspaper strips, Ian? Several samples are online: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1651629 Australia didn't have colour in the comics section then, so ours were b/w. When the story finished, it was replaced by "Hägar the Horrible&quo...

Re: Turntable in the Batcave sets

I have been considering. The cardboard disc in the Mcfarlane Batcave could be placed over a hole in a false floor, leaving hiding space for the rotating mechanism at the centre. Or set up the playset over an old portable record player's turntable.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Pink Cowl Batman, King Tut and Two Face are all in USA on e-Bay from a NY seller. I wasn't actually planning on getting Pink Cowl Batman but, as a set of three, the international postage evens out a little. Better than buying the other two individually. No sign of the Egghead wave Down Under yet, e...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Is Alfred in the license? There is a DC version with interchangeable heads (one of which looks enough like Alfred to pass, although I certainly would prefer the traditional suit over the more formal looking attire). If I remember correctly, an Alan Napier licence was secured midway through the run ...
