Re: TO THE BATPOLES #145: “Batman: The Movie”: What is “the director’s input”?

“Personally, I'm leaning toward an imaginary movie as directed by Otto Preminger. Wild!

What do you all think?”

I’m sure he would have done a great job with his direction. But I wouldn’t even wish my worst enemy to suffer through a shoot with Preminger as director :?

Re: Dame Diana Rigg: Avengers, Bond and Game of Thrones actress dies at 82

This is such sad news. She was just signed to do some more film or tv projects if I’m not mistaken. One of my favorite actresses of her time. She will be missed.

I’ve already started a batphone fund :D

Seriously, getting a show accurate batphone was a childhood dream and I’m super excited that it may soon become a reality!

That was the equivalent of not being able to say anything as your best friend is being mocked and bullied. Real classy DC.

Re: How do I license BM 66 for a product

I would assume the rights aren’t cheap. But if your product did get to market I would be glad to support it. A ‘66 bat-board game sounds fun! Yeah, I wouldn’t think it would be cheap either. I may contact a couple companies that already have a license going..maybe I could sell it through them? Big ...

Re: Diving Deep into the Green Hornet for the First Time

I find it better to do long posts in Notepad or Word than in a forum. I have had too many hiccups where long posts just disappear and can't be recovered. At least if it is Notepad I can get it back. I agree that the criminals are pretty bland especially in comparison to Batman, but that's not reall...

Re: Diving Deep into the Green Hornet for the First Time

This is strange, I decided to watch the rest of the series over the course of two days, and wrote a long episode by episode review. I must not have submitted it before shutting down my computer. I just came back to this thread now and realized that I never sent it. Oh well, overall I thought the ser...

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. I immediately stopped whatever I was doing and grieved. Later that night I got out the dvd set and watched a few episodes.

Re: New Batman Movie

I appreciate all of the different forms the Dark Knight has taken throughout his 80 year career. This new film doesn’t look great (and I liked the Nolan films), but at the end of the day, we will all still have the classic Batman to look back to. No movie can ever take that away, so I always welcome...
