Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

When Alfred overhears Lord Ffogg and Lady Peasoup plotting in the third part of the Londinium trilogy, part of the dialogue he hears is recycled from the second part of the story. In "The Bloody Tower," when Alfred listens in, he hears the following ... PEASOUP: I don't see why the girls -...

Re: RIP, Sid Haig.

I was honestly under the impression that she had passed over a decade ago. This got me wondering how many of the henchmolls are still with us, so I did some research. There were some of whom I could find no information, but I'm pleased to report that many of them are still living. Terry Moore and M...

That was Joseph Ruskin. Haig's only Star Trek appearance was as the First Lawgiver in "The Return of the Archons."

Marianna Hill is still with us, too. Two years ago, she spoke with Me-TV about her appearances on various '60s shows, including "Batman."

The same group, Monster Truck Ninja, also produced "Batcave Dance Party: Virtual Reality" using all the characters from the video above. Look close and you can spot that Hush and Kite Man have been added to the crowd. https://vimeo.com/243128189 A behind-the-scenes video about the making o...

Re: BATMAN SEASON FOUR Fantasy Print 13x19 LIMITED EDITION NOW!

Thanks for the response, Andy! I was "fancasting" for a fourth season of my own and was searching for suggestions, which led me to this thread. For some time now, I've been jotting down ideas for my own "continuing" season, but wasn't sure how to present them. Your summary format...

Re: When did you first see the show?

I was born about three months before the show debuted, so I first saw it in reruns around 1977 or so, when I was 11 or 12. IIRC, it was on at 4 p.m., right after school. Looking back, I think that really was the perfect age for me to have first seen it; I was old enough to understand and appreciate ...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

Another observation: Ever since I read about how several of the outdoor scenes in "The Bookworm Turns/While Gotham City Burns" have bookshops in the background, I've paid much closer attention to subtle details. Rewatching "The Cat's Meow," I noticed that at the very beginning of...

RIP, Carol Lynley.

Actress Carol Lynley, best known for playing the ship's singer in The Poseidon Adventure and for her role in Under the Yum Yum Tree , has died at age 77. In 1980 and 1984, she played Adam West's wife in two completely separate episodes of "Fantasy Island." I've always thought she would hav...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

I'm not sure if this qualifies as something I didn't notice before or if it's a full-blown plot hole, but: In "Surf's Up! Joker's Under!," Batman tells Robin to take a taxi or the subway to Wayne Manor, to return as Dick Grayson in his car and to bring his surfboard, because Batman will ne...

I'm about six or seven years late to the party, but I just recently found this thread. What fun! I'm curious, Andy. You didn't mention anyone in your episode list, but who did you have in mind for casting Zatanna? My first choices, although both were very young and relatively new to the business in ...
