Re: Manga Batman Lord Death Man
Agree 100%-- Jiro Kuwata's version of Batman is one of my all time favorites but this misses the mark completely. The DC Black and White statue was done in shades of gray and it was one of the best in the line-- this just looks like a grey super powers figure-- ears way off-- way too bulky-- easy pa...

It's a shame they left the figures out.

Re: HAPPY MONDAY! CHECK THIS OUT!
Well I'll say it-- these posts of yours that are simply links to your Facebook marketplace come across like Click Bait. "Admin Note: You don't need to say it. Chill. Let the Admins do what they do if necessary. We don't need the negativity because someone else feels annoyed by any other person'...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Almost picked up that pink Batmobile-- it's a fun item-- and the Big Lots Batman is a very odd hybrid-- but I'm glad you finally got one.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
It's easy to see a line run out of steam-- when you start to go deep you reduce the audience drastically from general appeal to hardcore fans. I don't buy the idea of '66 fans dying out-- the show had a resurgence in 1989 when the Family Channel brought it back to ride the wave of the Keaton film, a...

https://i.redd.it/vfso7ph22cs51.jpg Poor Lew always got a bad rap about being out of shape or his costume fitting poorly-- I think like Adam he suffered from a very unforgiving costume and a stuntman who was a bit on the paunchy side. In costume test shots (like this one) he looks good. Translating...

Yup forgot about those.
DAH Quality is a little bit of an issue-- the Blue Dark Knight Batman was at a local comic shop and the fabric and stitching was a little rough. I know they've done a bunch of figures since, I haven't seen any of them in person.

WILSON 02.jpg WILSON 01.jpg Got it in hand-- I have to say it looks ever better in person-- painting on the eyes is remarkable. The box is super high glossy and quite nice as well. He's doing a blue version later, I'll be in for one of those too. Really incredible work on this-- the Raygun is a gre...

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome
Yeah me too-- the removable cowl version looked far more serious than the painted head one did. I always saw the original as straight from the comics of the day-- and the painted head with his smile was Adam West.

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome
Great points-- even with FTC's 66 Batman figures-- you're not talking "screen accurate". It's funny how things play out-- when I was a kid I played with my Mego Batman and Robin figures and to me they WERE Adam and Burt-- I would have loved the FTC versions back then (or so I thought), but...

Thanks for the math, Ben-- I came up with similar numbers (and much larger ones for the deluxe) but didn't want to speculate-- be nice if they just spelled it out for you.

Re: Auto World Gold Plated Batmobile
It actually looks good in the box. A good friend of mine passed away a couple of years ago, and he had a garage full of kits he was planning on putting together. His wife wanted me to have them but I told her I was as bad as he was, so we gave them to a Veteran's shelter along with some glue and pai...
