Re: Batgirl's lair and origins
In the TV series, it looks like Batgirl is a female counterpart of Robin, not Batman. It makes sense. The only differences are that Batgirl has large funds of her own and can have access to some technology (lair and cycle, the building where she lives in), and she is a more competent detective than ...

Re: The Puzzler
I met Kim, Roddy and Charlton once at the 30th Anniversary Screening Party and cast reunion of "Planet." ( Not sure why Tippi Hedren was also there, since she was in "Birds" not "Apes.") I was hired as one of the gorillas to walk around the party to set the atmosphere....

Re: Batgirl's lair and origins
Barbara has a very close and loving relationship with her father, and no doubt shares his values. As a good daughter she would have wanted to help him in his 'war on crime' and took inspiration from the person who gave him more aid than anyone else-Batman. She would have likely met Batman several t...

Re: The Puzzler
I'm thinking for the sequel - Beneath the Planet of the Bats. The Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and King Tut are standing around the decrepit train station stairway staring down at Alfred and Aunt Harriet. The Penguin presiding. Catwoman: "Are we to understand that you've been in the Batc...

Batgirl's lair and origins
I always found Craig's Batgirl so mysterious. I don't remember if there's any evidence on the series she retains her comic book counterpart's eidetic memory , but she may have travelled a lot, learning martial arts and other skills along the way. Of course, her father did not suspect anything. Surel...

Bruce's sexual life in this universe
I'm under the impression Bruce/Batman of this universe doesn't need sex or even a romantic relationship.
What about Julie's Catwoman and their relationship?

Re: The Puzzler
Batbomba, Is that a Frank Morgan "Wizard of Oz" dressed as The Puzzler? LOL, I really don't know, I just found that on the net. Anyway, I like the fact the Puzzler is not monothematic : 1- He love riddles and puzzles, hence his persona. 2- He loves Shakespeare. 3- He loves airplanes...

Re: The Puzzler
It's a shame Frank Gorshin was being "difficult" reprising his role as Riddler in the second season. However I did enjoy John Astin's portrayal and would have preferred seeing him in a second storyline as the Riddler instead of Puzzler. Then again, it's all speculation. Since I never like...

The Puzzler
I know he was a blatant Riddler rip-off and they created him just because Gorshin was unavailable but... well, my God, what was his "costume" supposed to represent/inspire? He was an overall interesting character, but... what the hell with the costume?

Re: 1968 Cartoon- What's taking so long!?!?!?!?
"In 1985, Warner Home Video released five selected episodes of the series on VHS in the "Super Powers" video collection along with Aquaman, Superboy and Superman. These videos were rereleased in 1996 and are out of print." There's hope. Maybe WARNER acquired the 35mm prints long ...
