Re: 63 All Star Dairy Robinson Batmobile
I don't see much Batmobile in this at all. It's got some vague style similar to the "new look" Batmobile that appeared in comics in 1964 but in '63 they were still driving around in the big Bat-Head car that first appeared in 1950. I agree, not licensed, not official, a neat little roadste...

Re: Futurama
You're not alone, ditched cable for satellite a few years ago and then ditched satellite for over the air antenna two years ago, best decision I ever made. 26 channels I get with my antenna have more on it then the 500 channels I was paying for did.
Thanks for the heads up.

Lee!
I'm glad you've found more time to come back, we've missed your regular posts around here.
There are a lot of great people on this board, and I too consider you family.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Spent the morning reworking a classic '49 half sheet poster (changed out Batman's head, added the Batmobile and The Joker along with a few other tweaks) to try out our new Canvas printing supplier-- this is HUGE 40"x20" . Always dug the graphics from this serial even though I like the '43 ...

Re: show ?
I was thinking Hugo Strange too. There is a Batman villain called Copperhead, who had the snake motif and he was around early 60s. Lee, excellent question-- I would take a guess that at least the first half season was at least plotted out, they also had access to the comic books so there's the other...

Talk Episodes Here
Why not start a thread where we can just discuss these episodes we're "seeing for the first time"? I'll start- I pushed my way through Season 3 so I can end with the first two seasons. Three is not as bad as I remembered it, some of it is downright awful, but there are some gems. I'LL BE A...

Re: CNN's Five Best Moments, Including Cesar's Debut
Hands down Cesar's Joker is the most solid, creepy and out-there villain in the series. I loved him as a kid and I love him now.
Wit wise- it's hard to match King Tut's ad libs, but in a series with a LOT of great villains, Cesar remains the King (IMO).

Re: Next week Batman meets the .......
The next week bumpers were never on the very early episodes. And even at the time, sometimes the villain they claimed was coming on next week wasn't. Episodes were often filmed and shown in different orders.

How Are The bonus materials?
I don't mean the stuff on the discs, which as I wrote in another thread, I mean the tangible stuff they include with the set. On the BATMANONDVD Blu Set it comes in the magnetic green box, has an episode guide, the letter from Adam, Adam West Naked, Batman the Movie and the script to THE JOKER IS WI...
