Happy Birthday Victor Buono!

Happy Birthday and RIP Victor Buono, who portrayed the great King Tut! My awesome wife bought me the 60s series on DVD for Christmas, and today I just happened to be on the second part of the first two King Tut episodes, so I looked up Victor Buono out of curiosity, to discover that today is also hi...

Re: Board Background Images

I always appreciate good graphics. I am studying digital media arts which covers a broad spectrum of things including graphic design. The pictures look good with the site, definitely not bad.

Re: 'Batman' TV show licenses acquired by Warner Bros!!!

Man, I got so excited for a minute. But I hate to break it to you (though I wish I was wrong). When reading this article, I noticed that this is the same news from a few months ago that many of us already heard about (article is dated Jun 11 2012). These are the deals reached which allows the sellin...

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

The Mad Hatter was apart of the rogues gallery of arch criminals used in the comicbook prior to the 66series(his lure was his top hat and big orange mustache and he did return in seasons 2) and I always wanted him used in the more modern motion pictures. For some reason I could see Gene Wilder as M...

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

It's doubtful that would ever happen, simply because the producers of the Batman franchise over the past quarter century have focused on the comic book version, since the '66 fans don't fit their infamous marketing sweet spot. Besides, I can't picture anyone other than Victor Buono as King Tut, so ...

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

I've also thought more about this. Does anybody else think it would be cool to feature False Face in a new Batman motion-picture series whenever it is rebooted? Well, you've already had Tommy Lee Jones play Two-Face in the 1995(?) movie. Yes, but as I said, I believe False Face stands on his own. I...

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

I certainly think False Face should have appeared in at least a couple more appearances as well. I have thought about this recently. I've recently watched the whole series, and these two episodes are the ones that were, to me, the most memorable out of all three seasons. Malachi Throne was a great, ...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You Acquired?

Welcome BatBrain--- the '49 serial is a blast and the '43 is my favorite version of Batman put to film. I remember the old VHS tapes too-- the DVDs are much improved quality wise. Glad you decided to post. Thank you AndyFish! I certainly loved watching the 1949 ones, and I've only watched the first...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You Acquired?

Although not from the 60s show, I recently received as a gift, the 1943 Batman movie serial collection on DVD. When I was really small, I also got the 1949 serial on VHS, which is awesome by the way! Also, I'm new here. Recently got back into Batman after seeing The Dark Knight Rises in July, and I'...
