Re: OFFICIAL BAT '66 FANFICTION THREAD: your write the stories!

Any other opinions on some of these scripts? Strengths? Weaknesses?

Re: The Surprise Comic Every BATMAN ’66 Fan Should Read

Just got the first issue. Loved the sixties setup and characters. Can't say I liked the shift of town when things turned dark and gritty. Didn't expect the corrupt cops at the end.

Hope there are brighter moments ahead.

Re: The Surprise Comic Every BATMAN ’66 Fan Should Read

Someone said this was an attempt contrasting the light world of Adam West's Batman and the dark world of the Dark Knight version, but than I thought didn't Mad Magazine do a two page parody of that several years ago. Mad Magazine did a pretty good (though short) job.

This story has "heart." Why doesn't current comic books have that? Any guesses? Very encouraging story.

If DC ever published this, I would but it.

I'm still disgusted the Batman 66 comic still isn't an ongoing.

There was myth about an unproduced Stanley Ralph Ross CW script that has never been verified or denied

Keith, I still think you're doing better than where I'm at in western North Dakota.

Re: The Upside To Living In A Target Wasteland

Keith, I live in a town of around 30,000, with only a Wall Mart and a Menards in the immediate area. It's two hours to the nearest Target and Barnes and Noble and Best Buy. We're four hours from a Sams Club and I have little access to things, so just how big is the town you're in.

It's something made of paper. There have been strange discussions about it lately. I don't understand it all.

How do you know it was borscht?

Re: Script: THE CAT'S TALE, by Stephen Kandel

You know, you could take bits and pieces of "Fashions in Crime," and "A Cats Tail" and make about some pretty decent episodes of the series. Some repetitious odds and ends could be jettisoned.
