Re: Casting Suggestions for '66 villians

I prefer to take the approach of who falls into the plausible guest star realm. That means these criteria come into play when I envision fantasy casting ideas (and I claim this standard only for myself). 1-Was the performer active? 2-Was the performer "available" for TV guest shots? To me ...

Re: Inger Stevens signed to appear on show?

The episode title pun for the rumored Stevens appearance makes me think they were viewing her (if they were) not as a replacement CW but simply another original villainess to launch S2 in the tradition of all the male guest stars in new characters like Archer, Clock King etc. Clearly they would have...

Re: Batman scripts

You're right, my mistake there. I've gotten so many other scripts from them and along the way picked up other Bat scripts that I ended up merging the two together. As I recall other scripts were available for download because the Podcast people were making links available including earlier drafts. I...

"Batman Television Archives" Site On Internet Wayback

A few years back there was a website called ""The Batman Television Archives" that had a large number of primary source documents on the making of the series. The site has become defunct but I found out it is still accessible through the Internet Archive "Wayback Machine" co...

Re: Batman scripts

There are some scripts available for purchase as digital pdf files (they get sent to you by e-mail) from www.scriptcity.com. I also have uploaded my own personal scan of S1 "Fine Finny Fiends" (which is not available from Script City) https://www.dropbox.com/s/gj47xqs8r3s6ibu/Fine%20Finny%...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #127: It’s a “Challenge” Just to Sit Through “Legends”

The Spiderman live action series has never gotten its proper due IMO. I really wish though they'd kept Joanna "Isis" Cameron who was great in the two part "Deadly Dust" episode. Although the episodes that were combined into syndicated two hour movies were released on VHS, the sho...

The first one was bad enough. Even worse was the "roast" special that aired next.

Re: Superman: The Movie Anniversary This Sunday 12/15/19

I remember seeing it theatrically at age nine. I can still remember the BIG audience laugh when Clark first takes a glimpse at the public telephone before he changes into Superman for the first time.

"Molly" in 70s Batman Comic Book!

Around 1975, there were three Batman comics (Batman #243-244 and Detective Comics #451) that featured a character named "Molly Post", a championship skiier who gets caught up in the action in the first Bat story and then appears again in a darker tale where she's the target of an assassin....

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #123: Dr. Cassandra makes the show disappear

Duff and Lupino's volatile marriage was on the rocks by this point. They separated a couple years later though the divorce took a decade to finalize and when it was, Lupino had a wastebasket made with his picture at the bottom. Their sitcom "Mr. Adams and Eve" sadly will never be seen agai...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #120: Can Superman solve "Batman's Great Mystery"?

Jack Webb's daughter Stacey was in fact named after Stacy Harris because they were close friends. And yes, Harris usually did end up as a villain (and sometimes a psycho) on "Dragnet" though sometimes he did get to be a fellow cop.

The Riddle fight cue was also used in Part 2 of the Londinium trilogy and like that scene it was used because Batgirl wasn't present.
