Re: Would William Dozier's Wonder Woman Have Worked On An Episode Of Batman?

Last night after work I made a couple of posts on here. Upon re-reading them I noticed that one thing in particular did not come across as intended. I stated that those of us who actually appreciate the work of Adam West and other artists enjoy when new vehicles are created to shiwcase their lesser ...

Re: Would William Dozier's Wonder Woman Have Worked On An Episode Of Batman?

And why did they use a double for the mirror reflection? Good. We're back on topic. The double in the mirror image was to show how Wonder Woman sees herself as a beauty queen even though she is not. She might be all powerful but, like all good superheroes she has a flaw. Not because she is not beau...

Re: Would William Dozier's Wonder Woman Have Worked On An Episode Of Batman?

That would likely be about as memorable as when they slapped together a couple of John Lennon tunes in the mid-90's and manufactured two mediocre "Beatles" songs. If you have to start crafting a show out of bits and pieces, it's likely better left alone. Your opinion only. But, I respect ...

Re: Would William Dozier's Wonder Woman Have Worked On An Episode Of Batman?

So I went back and watched the test footage on YouTube again and have come to the conclusion that not only would Dozier's WW not work in a cross-over episode of Batman, it wouldn't work as anything, ever. Absolutely terrible. Oh, I can think of one thing that it could be (well, could have been) use...

Re: West & Ward in Costume 1986

I finally found my Super 8 film that I shot in 1986 when the duo appeared at the World Of Wheels in Evansville, Indiana. I'm a little disappointed it's silent as I had a sound camera at the time. Maybe I only had a silent cartridge to go into the camera when I went that day. Enjoy! https://youtu.be...

Would William Dozier's Wonder Woman Have Worked On An Episode Of Batman?

We've all seen it. The 5 minute Wonder Woman pilot film produced by Batman producer William Dozier. While most of us are thankful that it did not get picked up as a series I've often wondered if the character (as presented in the pilot) could have worked in an episode of Batman much like the Green H...

Re: Batman Comic fans on TV Series?

In the Burton/Schumacher films, Batman was "Bruce" in the batcave, in the manor and any location he felt like getting the mask off, usually for a love interest. This a recurring issue in the modern era of mega-budget superhero films: What star wants to spend all his screen time behind a m...

Re: Your Favorite Batman '66 Comics

While re-reading "Batman '66 Meets The Green Hornet"! I picked up on a joke that completely went over my head the first time. After the train is stopped by Colonel Gumm's adhesive Kato asked "What kind of glue is 'more powerful than a locomotive'?" Of course I got the Superman re...

Re: Batman Comic fans on TV Series?

I don't know of any interviews but in the 3rd season we can clearly see the comic influence on the set designers. The flatter, more angular style not to mention the darker settings and stylized holes created when our heroes would "break through" (usually off camera) a wall were all clearly...

I love watching clips like these. Especially when they stay in character. It is my hope that many more surface in the near future.

Just my opinion but I would go with the labels. IMO the stencil looks to clumsy for such high tech Bat Equiptment.

Exclusive preview! "Batman '66 Meets The Legion Of Super-Heroes"

Hopefully this is not really the going to be the last issue (this being a one shot DC would need 5 more issues just to fill out another 6 issue hardcover compilation book) of our beloved comic. I myself have several ideas for more. In the meantime here is an exclusive preview of the "final"...

Re: Identifying Bat Label Fonts

I seem to remember Batman using that mini charge activator from a seated position in another episode. Does anyone know what episode that was and what the death trap was?
