Re: Script: THE JOKER GOES TO SCHOOL, first draft

Was there a place in the show where he was called Wilberforce? By the way, please get your comments in here by March 21 to ensure we'll have them when we record this episode! And you're right, it's probably the closest to what was filmed of any script we've discussed so far. Maybe not as much to tal...

Looking at the production numbers in the Bat-Book, False Face is 8713, Joker/School is 8715. So that would fit with the show being in maybe its 2nd or 3rd week of broadcast when this was filmed.

Re: Questions for Donna Loren?

Was the epsode filmed during Batmania? I don't know how far ahead it was filmed. High C pointed me to another interview where Donna said that, when she arrived at Desilu to shoot, people were climbing the fence to get a look at a Batman shoot. I don't recall how many weeks of shows they were able t...

I haven't heard anything else about it. In the interview, he seems to believe it was filmed and broadcast!

Re: Batmobile sighting!

Yeah, I saw that FB post, too. I haven't seen the movie -- how on earth does the Batmobile fit into that film? Or is it the Futura redressed without bats?

Re: Script: THE JOKER GOES TO SCHOOL, first draft

In case you didn't hear the announcement I put out in our feed recently, due to Paul's hectic life right now, we're taking time off from the podcast. Will post here again when we have some idea when we'll be recording our episode about this script -- no sooner than March, I'm guessing. :( I hope ev...

Next week; The Joker!
In the course of doing the podcast, I've found that the first Joker arc is possibly my favorite of the entire series. It's funny but also stands up in terms of story and action.

Re: Joel Eisner Book

For instance, Dozier told Eisner for his original book that villain actors got $2500 per two-episode arc in seasons 1 and 2. Documentation from Dozier's files shows it was $3500, with occasional exceptions. The historian's problem, which I've come to appreciate while we make our podcast: interviewi...
