Re: Green Hornet golf balls: any connection to the character?
I've come across these over the years at various golf outings. I don't think there is any connection to what would have in the 50s be a former radio show hero.

I can't help you with the number-- I have one myself and its great.
I know several boards who are looking for one, so when you do list it somewhere be sure and mention it here.

MAKIMONO COMICS - A New Comic Company
RETAIL POSTCARD-1A.jpg Hey Folks- So I've been doing this now for about a year, and we're launching print books. We've got a line of comics that are (we hope) fun and sometimes funny-- if you found, for example, some of the things happening in the modern Batman comics a little ridiculous, you might...

Re: Bradford Exchange light-up clock
We've discussed BE at length-- they are all over the place with quality control-- so it's always best to wait and see what the production copy looks like before ordering. The image shown so far is a computer mockup. I like it-- it's a fun idea-- would have been neat if it was a KooKoo clock and a Pe...

Re: Oscars tribute to West
Apparently it was all Keaton's idea to do the ascot- if you look closely you can see that he's still wearing the tuxedo he had on earlier in the night he just switched out for the bit. As someone who is often called on to wear a tux for events I can tell you that ascot is a million times more comfor...

Re: McFarlane 7” 1939 Batman
The blue highlights don't make sense to me-- the inside blue cape is a winner-- video points out the gloves look unfinished-- there should be some kind of cuff. I don't like the head sculpt either, but then I'm a toy fan-- I can't ever be happy with anything right?

The display, and the response to it as indicated in the article, just proves you're never going to top Barris' original.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Interesting lineup-- I wonder why we have a Joker in the Batmobile? Penguin in the Batmobile I get-- although I'm sure The Joker stole the Batmobile somewhere. As for the New Adventures, I'm sure a lot of you are happy for Catwoman, Bane, Night Wing are interesting choices. Wasn't Joker in wave 1? F...

Re: Who is in the Bat-suit?
I didn't think he was, since there's no footage of his arriving at the theater but there is for the other four. I'm assuming the newspaper article I read was written by the PR department before the event. I wonder if Adam wasn't at the Hollywood opening because of the New York opening? Same night?

Re: Who is in the Bat-suit?
You beat me to it-- you tracked down the Pharmacy which was the biggest clue. The Austin premiere had two events that day-- one for the kiddies and one for the adults. Austin featured Adam, Burt, Lee, Cesar and Burgess, but they each arrived in a different colored convertible-- looked to be Lincolns...
