Re: Is it true that Van Williams.....

Yes, it is true, and this is indicated on IMDB.com . However, President Johnson's name is never mentioned, and I always took it to mean that it was simply "The President," with the implication that it was LBJ. Which is the usual way of handling it, since the filmmakers aren't looking to d...

Re: Re-Used Material or Sets

I've mentioned before that in Season Two, the same set was used as Gotham City Jail (Penguin Restaurant caper), Gotham State Prison (Ma Parker), Federal Sub-Treasury (Penguin & Marsha) and the Gotham City Coliseum Exposition Hall (Shame).

Skipper (Alan Hale) also was a guest star on Wild Wild West (with Jim Backus) during their final season, and in the final scene, he makes a hilarious inside joke in which Gilligan's theme music can be heard. That in itself was a powerful comment on how much of an impact Gilligan was already making ...

Re: Actors an Actresses in Batman and....

It's been noted that Batman and Lost in Space not only had plenty of actors on both series, but shared props. Skipper (Alan Hale) also was a guest star on Wild Wild West (with Jim Backus) during their final season, and in the final scene, he makes a hilarious inside joke in which Gilligan's theme mu...

Re: Re-Used Material or Sets

The red-headed hat check girl at the fire station in The Thirteenth Hat wears a dress that I think Polly wore in The Contaminated Cowl and The Mad Hatter Runs afoul. It looks a little different, but given the fact that this was the time when budget cutting really started to take hold, it wouldn't s...

Re: Positive thoughts on 3rd Season

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I wanted to add a few more things: Tonight on MeTv they played The Ogg Couple, which I found was a lot of fun, and instead of just certain parts I like the whole episode! Thought I had seen all of the episodes, but I missed this one somehow... :) It's been noted b...
