Re: William McLennan

Re: Yvonne Craig - May 16, 1937 – August 17, 2015 :(

Very sorry to hear this news at the start of the day. I was impressed by this section of her family's statement: "no one waste a moment of their time in mourning for her loss in sadness but instead celebrate the awesome life she had been fortunate enough to live." So, I'm going to put on t...

Re: What are some of your favorite moments?

Robin going up the Perspex tube in the first Catwoman episode stuck in my mind for years. It's in the View Master reel set as well.

Re: Talk Episodes Here

Batman obviously used his incredible, nimble origami skills, developed in the Far East over years of intense preparation for crime fighting, to fold the paper so that Commissioner Gordon could peruse the pertinent information instantly.

Batman Two Face Episode Comic

While the Batman 66 comic has been a bit hit and miss, this sounds good. "During the original Batman television series run, legendary science-fiction writer Harlan Ellison turned in an outline for a story that would have introduced Two-Face. The story never made it to air, and Two-Face never en...

Re: Enter Batgirl

A Bat-girl character had been introduced in 1961. Bette Kane. It makes sense to me to have the revitalised character related to Commissioner Gordon. I suppose it's a bit like the Aunt Harriet character. Dozier said she was introduced by the tv series. However check out Batman #328 from 1964 and ther...

Re: Why a Serious Green Hornet?

Dozier was at loggerheads with George Trendle for most of the time during the series production. Again, there is far more information in the Green Hornet book but, just one example, Trendle particularly disliked the descending fireplace that DA Scanlon used when visiting Britt Reid. From what I've r...

Re: RADIO SPIRITS RELEASES MORE "GREEN HORNET"!

None of the early episodes were recorded. It seems the idea for transcription discs first surfaced when writer Fran Striker thought it would be a good idea to have a character in a Green Hornet episode listening to the Lone Ranger as part of the broadcast. So a Lone Ranger episode from December 17th...
