Re: Britt Reids car

Britt Reid's car was Chrysler 300 convertible. Good question about the color. Maybe someone out there can ID the color?

GI Joe 12" figures

One of my other passions besides Batman are GI Joe 12" figures. Sorry, Ben. I dont know anything about Action Man. Thought it could be fun to post about them here. The GI Joe websites I've come across favor the newer 3 3/4" Cobra figures. I never got into that. So please, when posting here...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

Many many years ago I was going through a pretty dark period financially and had to sell some things I thought I'd never sell. One of them was extremely hard to come by-- a virtual one of a kind item. I'd sold it to a collector in another country for a very good price. We kept in touch for a while ...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

I, of course remember GDog. You couldn't find a nicer guy in a day's walk. Joe Deseris (sp) I believe had to sell due to his father's health, or so the story goes. Anyway, cool stuff. Had it all (except the newer stuff) love seeing the stuff and the enjoyment it brings. And I agree with you Andy. Pi...

May you guys never get hungry enough to have to sell your stuff. I unfortunately found out that my Batstuff didn't taste very good with ketchup on it.

Re: Folding Robin Batarang

Hi stranger,

Nope. I dont think he ever unfolded his. Here's a photo that always made me smile...Robin with Batman's Batarang. I suppose the smaller one wasn't thought of yet? And to add to the thread, was Robin's the same as Batgirl's?

Re: Aurora Batman model question

Hi Lou, So, when I was 11 I painted my 1974 Comic Scenes Batman trunks the same blue as the Cape, mask, gloves and boots. It was a lighter blue than Navy blue, but darker than say sky blue. When I was 22 or so, I bought the 1984 Super Powers kit. It was so nice to have a chance to do the "tree&...

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread

Is the ID car motorized? Like a slot car? Apparently not. This is from Mattel's Hot Wheels website. I had to see myself what these were: "Hot Wheels™ id blends traditional Hot Wheels® play with a digitally connected racing system that revs competition and experimentation. The more kids play wi...

I agree about Lew. And let's see 1949's Bob Lowery too.
Oh, the 1939 12" is out from Mattel. Part of the 80 year Batman celebration. Purple gloves and all lol. Comes with an incorrect Batarang, and a mini Detective #27.
