A fan wrote a scholarly 3 volume set of rare 1960s Batman toys with photos. Also a golden age comic section. It was just for himself but he made 18 available to other fans. I think all were spoken for almost immediately. It was an informative book that is a good companion piece to Batman Collected.

It will have a Bat Shield that may also fit Captain Action and the Hot Toys Adam West.

Also McFarlane Toys will make Multiverse figures based on tv shows. So 1966 Batman is a good possibility since Todd is a fan.

Enjoyable comic. Recommended.

Now that the 1966 Batmobile is going to be in the new Martin Scorcese Joker movie, maybe this will spur Hot Toys to release it. Perhaps this will be a grittier version of the Adam West Batman. Hot Toys makes a lot of prototypes they never actually sell like yellow jacket, cyborg, The Flash. I think Shuri will fall into that category. A Yvonne Craig Batgirl would sell very well. Hot toys has poor marketing. They sell a lot to China and Japan but lots of people in the US never heard of them...

Hot Toys should have made more 1966 Batman figures instead of Shuri. I like Shuri but I wouldn't buy it.

So far the only Batgirl Hot Toys has shown is the videogame one.

Yes Hot Toys bought his collection for their museum in Japan. Possibly they will publish a book too that would be the definitive book on 1966 Batman toys.
