Great idea. Just a suggestion the Batman 66 comics would be a good template to work with and that included several issues with the Green Hornet.

I think this could be some kind of genius marketing by Warner Bros. They couldn't have bought the global coverage they've received and now a whole bunch of people, who wouldn't have otherwise been interested, are now very intrigued to see what all the fuss is about.

There's been a development to this story. It does seem the new series will find a streaming home with Disney and Apple circling above it...

There's a definitive history of the Green Hornet co-written by Martin Grams and Terry Salmonson which has a list of every company that received a license in 1966.
Literally any question you can think of is answered in that book.
