Re: BAT 77 Episode #01 - The Gosh-Darned Bat Mite

I always figured it was the ADR that made Adam's West''s voice the way it was. I can't and won't compare those with the two movies. But that Batman in 1977 (and Robin as well) was played straighter than in the 60's live action show. It's a shame they couldn't do the Batfights, but I guess that's wha...

Re: Eartha's Catwoman really fights

I had those episodes in my head the other night so i watched them, and yup!! Agreed!! Eartha's Catwoman had a clear vendetta against Batgirl too and most likely wanted revenge for Batgirl for beating her in the Best Dressed list and escaping the pattern Cutter and Cats Whiskers traps.

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #87: An Eggsasperating Eggsercise

The third season multi-parters were all team-ups whether necessary or not. They must have been trying to fill their quota of multi-parters there because single episodes would have been too boring after awhile. Maybe we got the episodes like Shame and Calamity Jan and Lord Ffogg and Lady Peasoup beca...

He called it "Bat-speak". Drawing words out accentuates the absurdity. At least according to Return to the Batcave, so take that however you want.

Re: A Change In Perspective: King Tut episodes

The Scoutmaster scene in the Simpsons (despite being about Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy) didn't help either. Chandell and Harry. They were my favorites at the time!! It was a refreshing change from supervillains despite Chandell being called Fingers. Definitely better than the Minstrel, but even ...

It's a MIRACLE Barbara never recognized Alfred's voice when he answered the Batphone and when calling to Batman.

Re: A Change In Perspective: King Tut episodes

The issue with me was due to that one episode of the 90s animated series where there's a guy named Maxi Zeus who suddenly thinks he's the God Zeus. Very annoying character and nowhere near the charm of King Tut. So whenever I would see King Tut on the 60s show, I was equally unimpressed. But thanks ...

Re: ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 Coming this Summer

^ Just like how the Green Hornet crossover played out in the show. I wonder if they're going for a Brave and the Bold style as Batman was always with another hero in that series.

Re: How many Batfights did the henchmen win?

Hizzoner The Penguin involved only the G.O.O.Ns with Penguin showing up after they won and Ice Spy had them forcefully pushed into the Vaporizer. I think "A Piece Of The Action" goes the same way because they were pushed onto the Undetachable Glue Pad.

Re: I’m Sorry VICTOR BUONO, I Was Wrong About You

I agree with everything!! I rediscovered the 60s series only after watching the 90s cartoon. In the cartoon, there was an episode where a guy thought he was the God Zeus and wanted to do the same things as Tut. It was easily one of my least favorite episodes of that cartoon so upon seeing Tut for th...

Re: Favorites

That line was especially funny since as King Tut, he recognized Batgirl in both episodes; even when she had only just appeared in three stories prior. So surely the professor would've recognized. That might explain how he easily become Tut again in the Dr. Cassandra episodes. He was too far gone. Sa...

They also use it to get through the Penguin's gunfire trap in "The Bird's Last Jest" and to guard against Harry's bullets in "The Dead Ringers".

Re: SPOILERS: Batman vs Two Face - Discussion thread

The first one was indeed good and I'll admit got better once Batman started feeling the effects of Catwoman's Batnip slowly but surely. Yes, that did get out of control but it was enough to make seasoned viewers go wide eyed. It was indeed campy. This one was much more faithful to the first season a...
