Re: Questions about the show universe

My own take on the subject is that the show is best watched and enjoyed at face value. The show, and I believe even the comics of the era, were not overly concerned with continuity and canon, so to try and apply it now, I believe, kind of skews the picture that the "original artists" prese...

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

Wonderful news! Now, we just have to hope for a set full of extras. Somehow, I have the feeling that after such a long, highly anticipated wait, the set's producers will do a great job and blow us away!

Re: 45th Anniversary of a Baturday Morning Debut!

Growing up in the 70's and early 80's, I enjoyed the Batman cartoons and the Superfriends. I also remember on WGN in Chicago, the Ray Raynor Show, and later, Bozo would play Superman and Superboy cartoons; usually ending with Clark Kent giving the "camera" a knowing wink. On a side note, w...

Thanks for the reply, Steve. It is pretty cool, and I bet kind of a thrill when people talk to you as if you were Adam! Nice job on the costume, as well.

Re: Does Cosplay have any boundaries?

Honest question here... what exactly is "cosplay"? Is it largely done at conventions and such? Is it done "for hire", or mostly for your own enjoyment? Steve, you say you used to "work Hollywood Blvd.", again, was this "just for fun", or do you work for tips l...

Well, as far as I remember, I didn't have any other plans for that evening, so I would hope I caught at least part of it! Hey, how many of us can truly say we're "life- long" fans!

Re: What year and day did Batman '66 movie premiere on ABC-T

Another truly silly piece of trivia from July 4, 1971 is that 60's tv fan was born somewhere around 5 am on that very day. Unfortunately, I do not remember first- hand any other details of that particular day. Seriously, though, July 4th was always a pretty cool day for a birthday, and its pretty ne...

Re: Batman Photo of Me from 1980

Reminds me of my brother and I in about the same time frame. We spent countless hours running around "portraying" Batman and Robin, Superman, and several other super heroes, Star Wars, G. I. Joe, cowboys and Indians... all kinds of things. Too bad now it seems that so many kids of that age...

Re: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 1967

AH, I've said this before, but if (more hopefully "when") our favorite incarnation of Batman gets a proper dvd release, I sure hope that the producers go to you to provide episode notes. The work you did on The Monkees dvd's was spectacular, and I'm sure you'd do just as great a job on Bat...
