Re: Re-Used Material or Sets
Citizens, I believe the scales in which the Price Catwoman, Robin, and Pussycat rob sits to be balanced with money to be donated to orphans or another worthy charity is the same scale Penguin uses to balance the Dynamic Duo over a labeled vat of sulfuric acid balanced with enormous, melting ice cube...

Re: The Best and Worst of Chief O'Hara
Citizens,
I am with Shemp:
"Me men are clever, goodness knows. But where the human brain is concerned, they're just not equipped."
(The Black Widow Strikes Again)
Outstanding!

Re: So were any of the 66 villians destined to be awful?
Citizens, I think we can throw out celebrities playing themselves as villains for the topic of doomed villain concepts since these characters are being shoehorned into the show instead of being ideas to be realized in the show. So, Chandell and Zsa Zsa are out. The Nora Clavicle character was misund...

Re: From Riddler to Clay face
Citizens, The Riddler in the cartoon opening featuring Adam and Burt's voices was from the previous Filmation cartoon, in which the character was used. That set of episodes was filmed before the crackdown on comic book violence and featured fights and more closely followed the format of the live act...

Re: Bat-Trivia
Citizens, Singer Leslie Gore, who played Pussycat, one of Catwoman's assistants, was related to William Dozier or Howie Horowitz in real life. Someone will, I'm sure, remind me of which. Shame's henchwoman and love interest Calamity Jan was played by Dinah Merill and she was, at the time, Cliff Robe...

Re: Current actors/actresses who would make good Bat-villian
Oh, Citizens,
I forgot to return to the topic of the thread and suggest I agree with a suggestion I read hear some time ago about British actor David Tennant being energetic enough to give a Gorshinesque performance as the Riddler.

Re: Current actors/actresses who would make good Bat-villian
Citizens, We would all have preferred Frank Gorshin had guest starred in the anniversary Batman story and I'd add, had he done so, the story would be a fan favorite instead of being regarded as a sort of strange duck. The fact it, it's a good story with roots in the comics. Astin wisely made differe...

Re: Favorite/Smartest Crime on the show
ClocK King, You raise a fascinating question, sir. I think the student riot Catwoman's staged may have been most the productive crime on the show and was smart for that reason. it covered her robbery of the Batagonian Cat's Eye Opals and nearly provided countless witnesses to her greatest triumph as...

Re: Commissioner Gordon & Lemonade
Citizens, The Commissioner must be given a pass for drinking the lemonade at the Van Jones shindig. It was a temperance party at which only lemonade was being served. With only the one beverage, it was easy for Riddler to spike the libation to arrange for the mayhem he filmed for his movie and schem...

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?
Citizens, I'd love to have seen more stories featuring False Face. Having Malachi Throne return in the role would have been fantastic, but he was great in "It Takes A Thief". (Too bad he was not retained for the third and final season.) Anyway, unlike Riddler; Mister Freeze; and Catwoman, ...
