Re: So...where's the Green Hornet DVD release?

Well there is a DVD release already - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Green-Hornet-The-Fury-Dragon/dp/B000639WPA/ref=pd_cp_d_h__0 Two movies compiled of four episodes put together so 8 episodes in total. The quality of the picture isn't great as its not been remastered but still very much watchable. I don't...

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

I have the 1966 movie on Blu-Ray and its fantastic, colours are sharp, great dynamics etc..

I do agree with you JWLJN a Blu-Ray boxset of 120 episodes will be costly however I would be willing to set myself back a little to purchase them - would be totally worth it IMO!

Re: Say Goodbye to Your Bootlegs!

Yes, I do wonder as well what these tidbits and extras on these bootlegs are that some have mentioned? :?: Well I do own a copy of the "studio masters" set. What they have on each episode which does not appear on TV broadcasts/re-runs are "next villain" bumpers at the end of the...

Re: The Puzzler

It's a shame Frank Gorshin was being "difficult" reprising his role as Riddler in the second season. However I did enjoy John Astin's portrayal and would have preferred seeing him in a second storyline as the Riddler instead of Puzzler. Then again, it's all speculation.

Watch the above YouTube clip. Its a funny mockery on "Batman and Robin" and they guy makes a comparison to it to the 1966 Batman.

Ah always nice to come across a new Batman 60's website. Seen some of the files around the internet before. Like Scott says its nice to see someone has made the time to put these together. Very interesting reads - bat history at its finest!

Great to see Burgess and Cesar in the interview! As usually you only see Julie, Adam, Burt or Yvonne in these types of shows/interviews. Thanks for the post!

Re: Best Villain's Lair

I love Catwoman's catacombs in #19/20. The set design with her sort of "crib" then the dugeons looked like a pretty awesome lair, had a sort of fortress feel to it! The Black Windows as mentioned in other posts has got to be the best! The two old folks at the front causing a diversion, the...
