Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

If that poster at the Home Theatre Forum is involved with the home video release you can expect it to be top quality. Remember those Batman outtakes that appeared on eBay a while back?? That gent was the seller. :) He was also instrumental in finding the original used and unused elements for Magical...

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

Regarding what the quality of the color of the show will look like I just put something up on YouTube. It is a short clip of a collector projecting his 35mm print of an episode in his home this last week. This is 35mm not 16mm and was printed in the 1980s on low fade stock. You see it in widescreen ...

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

I'm glad the Batman Series is finally coming to DVD I bet it will be different than bootleg, I think I'll buy the real one when it comes out. I am looking forward to sending the 22+ DVD-R set bootleg to the trash. That music used in the menus was ANNOYING, among other things! :P This week someone a...

Re: tight dying

Correct. My bad. Too early in the morn to be thinking without my notes at hand. lol

Agetate the dye then add tights.

Here is the old thread on tight dyeing, for those new here.

Re: tight dying

They look fine, judging by the photo. Here is a pair I did last year. I've dyed about 8 or 9 tights so far and use 8 packages of RIT Pearl Gray and 1/2 tablespoon of RIT Purple per tight set. Pour all into a glass container with boiling water in it and stir to dissolve. While the tights are agitatin...

Alfred on "Shirley Temple's Storybook" show in 1960.

In 1960 Alan Napier (Alfred) played Col. Devlin in "Shirley Temple's Storybook's" version of Rudyard Kipling's "Kim". It is available on DVD and is one of the very few examples of early color TV shot on video that is on home video. In the top photo you can see that Joseph Wiseman...

Re: What kind of knob used was in Shakespear for the Batpole

I ask because a lot of the close up photos I see are of reproductions.

Anyone got a closeup showing the type of knob used on the show??

What kind of knob used was in Shakespear for the Batpoles?

Hi, I have a lot of electronic parts here, various enclosures an extra remotes for my garage door opener. I thought a good 10 minute project would be to reconfigure the garage remote, put it in an medium sized industrial enclosure, install a light, make a label, and turn it into a secret Batgarage o...
