Re: Batmobile protected as a "character"
Yeah, that's Mark Towle's Gotham Garage. Before our own Mark Racop and his Fiberglass Freaks made OFFICIAL Batmobiles, I used to wonder about Gotham Garage and how they could do it. Darin will be interested in the Batboat they make (just Google Gotham Garage.) Thank you for this information. I just ...

Re: If not Astin, then who?
I liked the change from Gorshin to Astin because it showed that not just one person could play a character just like all of us kids playing Batman in our backyards. I think I was more shocked to see the different Catwomen, especially Eartha Kitt as she was such a departure from the whole Newmar char...

Re: Spinning Bat Transition Scene Question
Whatever it was, it is stock footage and is the same thing through the run of the series. Good question here! Anyone care to do some screen captures and see if we can get to the bottom of this? BTW, in a related topic, what episode is it where they did the Batspin every couple of seconds? Very annoy...

Re: The Unanswered Riddler's Riddle
My guess is the "E" stands for "E. Nigma"---Edward Nigma, the Riddler as if to tell Batman that it was indeed HIM. The RIddler has no fun in his riddles unless he makes sure HE has credit for them.

Re: A Question of Degrees
The Batman series went the way it did and if they had tried to make it more serious, I don't think that would have worked. But you know, look at all the quote "serious" shows of the time today. Lost in Space, The Man From UNCLE, Star Trek, Voyage to the bottom of the sea and even Bonanza. ...

Re: The Original Batcopter
Someone tell the owner to make the logos on the fuel tanks original. Those 1970's logos kill me everytime I see a picture of the Batcopter.

Re: First Time You Saw the Show and How Did You Feel?
I was 5 and was taken by the music. Soon after my first episode (Batgirl's debut) I went on a hunt for Batmusic with my mom and to my dismay, no LPs with the original Batman Theme or any with even a cover of the Batgirl Theme. My closest LP was of course Neal Hefti's first Batman LP but I was still ...

Some toy from Toy Biz or Kenner/Hasbro most likely...circa 1989-1999. Maybe from the animated series line who knows?

Re: Did Any of the Villains Scare You?
Tallulah Bankhead as Black Widow. Still today makes me shutter. Her voice: "Bat dolllllllllllll." ***SHIVER*** :o My second "creeper" villain is Van Johnson as Minstrel. Just the whole singing thing was soooo creepy to me. BTW: Did anyone REALLY think he could sing well? I mean R...
