Re: Robin

Loved the show, but moments like Robin catching a bus into town or Batman hitching a ride on the back of the Alf-cycle were too much, even for me! This showed writers who either didn't know the characters or didn't care to know them and just went for cheap laughs - which didn't work. They only made...

Re: Fanfic-The Origin of Catwoman Reimagined

You guys have filled in the details purrfectly. I now have a new way of looking at Catwoman. "When I get out of jail, will you take me on a date?" Vicky Russell "Are you spoken for - married, engaged, going steady..." Vicky Russell I know this is really reaching and reading into ...

Re: Did anybody notice...???

First off I must apologize for going sort of O/T here, but I saw the biggest Bat-blooper of them all yesterday - in Chapter 6 of the nicely restored 1943 serial that TCM is running right now. A simple scene: Batman climbs down a ladder. As he is coming down, about a dozen cigarettes fall out of his...

Re: Who has watched all 120 episodes?

Not in order, I'm afraid. Believe it or not, the day my box came in the mail, I immediately went to the third season. I had an episode or two on my mind and figured "why not?". I haven't watched all of them yet...if anything, I know that Ma Parker is going to be dead last. She's THE MOST I...

Re: The Sandman Cometh/The Catwoman Goeth

HOLY HOWLER - Every Catwoman episode is a gem, but this one was truly one of Newmar's finest hours. True, she wasn't a schoolgirl over Batman, (no holy mush here, boys and girls) but I loved it when she went on about Batman's flashing eyes. She was very sinister in this, but she was howlingly funny ...

Re: Did anybody notice...???

Robin's cape comes off during the window strangulation scene in "The Cat and the Fiddle", right after he calls them "thieving thugs" -you notice it when Batman and Robin both raise an arm to throw a punch to free themselves, then there's a faraway shot of them fighting their way ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the quicksand deathtrap the first one in which Robin didn't panic?

Re: A Casual Fan

"I love Williams on Lost In Space..." I once imagined (and photoshopped) television life if Adam West, Burt Ward, Guy Williams and Mark Goddard all mistakenly auditioned for the others' respective series. West and Williams looked normal swapping parts and Ward made a normal-looking "D...

That would have made an EXCELLENT ending to the series.
