Re: R.I.P. Lesley Gore

And notably, unlike many other henchmolls, she was unrepentant at the end of the episode (of course that would have taken attention away from Julie).

Re: Cactus Kleinschmidt's Cosmic Casino

Hmm. Now who vould haff - excuse me - would have played this villain in 1966-68? Maybe Horst Buchholz (from The Magnificent Seven ) or Hardy Kruger? At that time Klaus Kinski was beginning to make a name for himself as well... You'd probably have to rename Goldfinger since those kind of name referen...

Here's the Chicago Tribune review - looks like the reviewer "gets it":

Re: Burt Ward in The Graduate?

I searched the Chicago Tribune's archives about the play Burt was in at the Pheasant Run (note spelling) Playhouse and there's not a lot of info, let alone a review, but here's what I found so far: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7463/16323332325_53fe5e5228_o.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8653/1...

Re: Damaged costume parts

(notice the Joker's signature changes) The first one looks like he tried to sign it "CR"! Then there's Robin's costume from "The Yegg Foes in Gotham" that was pretty well messed up with eggs, and on the villains' side, Egghead's outfit fared even worse (hours of shooting under h...

Re: Holy Facial Burns!

Adam does show tan/sunburn lines like that in "The Bat's Kow Tow", but you have to look close - it's about 1/4" below the bottom edge of the cowl. Most visible when he Bat-gasses Catwoman, and again in the closeups when they're in the Batcave together.

Did someone mention loose threads? Look at the R symbol: https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8578/16108823540_38b937fa4a_b.jpg Although it could also be a bit of a feather or mattress stuffing from the Bat-fight. (By the way, this is a screen print from an HD episode I bought from Amazon. Is this the sam...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DV

Finally got a DVD set for $1.00 (for a week from the local library!). I spent the week downloading stills and got through Seasons One and Two, and the first thing I spotted from the pilot: someone forgot to charge the Bat-extinguisher - https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8655/16296034045_6129db16fe_o.jpg

Re: Batmobile License Plates. How Chosen?

Not to Barris. Personalized plates as we know them today didn't exist in California in '65; and from the numbers quoted only ZEF 451 would be used with the three-letter/three-digit system then in use for passenger cars - however, that combination would not have been issued until 1969. TP 5967 would ...
