Re: Customising 6" Pussycat
Thanks everyone! I love it when a lonely action figure demands to be transformed, meaning it gets rescued from a hook in the toy shop and takes on a more exciting existence.

Re: How Therin of Andor ended up in Guinan's bar
Wow Ian, that is super exciting!! But I am left wondering, as the post title suggests, how did this come to be? Designer Dave Blass put out a request for images on Twitter just after the end of Season One, but we were not able to know how our pics might get used. Many fans were suspicious and thoug...

Re: How Therin of Andor ended up in Guinan's bar
OMG, the Therin love continues in Episode #4, "No Win Scenario". What a week to be at a concert in a zoo when the episode drops Down Under! My phone went crazy in the afternoon, with intriguing little "What the -?" messages and alerts, and then my phone battery faded out. Great c...

Very cool! We did park escapades on the night of the premiere of "Supergirl" (1984) and the following Saturday night. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52480980378_5e6c22a52f.jpg Superheroes in Sydney in 1984 by Ian McLean , on Flickr Also an outdoor photoshoot in Sydney - with a huge gr...

Re: Adjusting the 6" Eartha Kitt Catwoman
Amazing work, Ian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, what is the Luna Park item that You used for the background, please? It's a tea towel from the gift shop at Luna Park Sydney, from about 2012. It originally started as a part of what is (was?) called "Coney Island in New York City. NYC has Coney Isla...

Re: Adjusting the 6" Eartha Kitt Catwoman
Ha ha. That’s a pretty good likeness, Ian. Did you build up anything for the mustache, or is it just paint? Thanks. A little quickset putty to alter the Mattel Gorshin’s hairline and to add the mustache. Plus darker paint. I had already tried the same trick on the 8” FTC Riddler! https://live.stati...

Re: Mego 50th Anniversary-- The Return!
My younger brother collected original Megos - and I enjoyed them through him. I hated that Mr. Mxyzpltk was a regular 8" figure, so I bought him the little Mr. Mxyzpltk "Bendy" figure. Much better scale!

Re: Batman 1966 Scotland
IMDb.com is often a good source for international premiere dates of TV shows and movies, but updates are always welcome. I researched the Australian premiere and added it myself a few years ago. Currently, IMDb says: United States January 12, 1966 Poland January 12, 1966 United Kingdom May 21, 1966 ...

Re: guess the bat toy mistake
Another easy fix: The two Batpoles in the McFarlane Batcave playset are identical sizes. (Strangely enough, the same error is in the MezcoToyz playset.) In the show, Dick’s Batpole is noticeably thinner than Bruce’s Batpole. So I taped together two paper drinking straws, removed the base, and slid i...
