Would have been cool too if Chandell, Minstrel & Siren all teamed up together for some kind of music related crime, to take on the terrific trio.
I would have signed up for Minstrel and Siren together. I think three is too many unless it's a movie.

Re: Things/People who annoyed you

Good idea for a thread! I agree on Freeze, Olga, Andy from the Shame episode and Lola Lasagne. However, I would say in all of these cases, part of the blame is on the performer and part of the blame also falls to the writer for creating an annoying character. Vincent Price was a great actor, but Egg...

Re: Actors you wish would have been casted as villains

Similarly, Harley Quinn wasn't invented until 24 years after the show left the air. Here's what I posted in another thread about potential villainesses that could have been used: My suggestions for Poison Ivy would be either Tina Louise or Jill St. John. While it's true Jill was doing movies by 1967...

Great catch. I've also noticed how the backdrop outside the window of Gordon's office is sometimes the same view from Jim Phelps' apartment when he's 'assembling his team.'

Re: Batman 3rd season - Dr Cassandra - released villians

Folks, you can go to www.batmantelevisionseries.com and look for scan No. 740, the call sheet for the day they filmed the scenes with the doubles. It actually gives names for four of the six doubles. As expected, Catwoman's double is indeed Marilyn Watson, who doubled for Julie the first two seasons.

Re: Batman at the Boxoffice

I like that he said it's "not as scary" as a movie as it is on TV. Hardly anyone remembers the series had scary moments in the first season, by 1960's standards anyway. Actually, the phrase was 'not as crazy.' Fun review/story. Some odd things, like the writer going out for a smoke and gi...

Yeah, also would be impossible for that costume to cover it.

You may be right, Scott. Thanks for finding those photos.

Maybe the type of bra worn underneath makes a difference, too. Hard to say.

Re: Dozier interview before the movie

Appreciate your technical insight there, Scott. Obviously I should have figured that once Lee was cast, then it wouldn't have taken too much time to get a costume to fit her properly in that area. Same here. Here's a screengrab of Lee in costume at the premiere: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tZWlo3KGBp...

Re: Dozier interview before the movie

Julie's first appearance costume was even less form fitting than Lee's movie costume. The sprayed on looking Julie suit came about in the second season. Also, Julie's first costume tried to keep the belt in place with thin thread like belt loops near the back of the suit and on the side seams. Lee'...

Re: Dozier interview before the movie

Agreed. More and more the element of Lee as a last minute replacement brought in because of (1) her Fox contract and the fact that she wasn't needed for "Time Tunnel" until late June when production on that would start and (2) her height being close enough to Julie's could let her wear th...

Dozier interview before the movie

Re: new female villians

I had read that Claire Bloom had also expressed interest on being on the show. With her experience in Shakespeare plays, she might have been a good fit for Lady Macbeth if Diana Rigg said no. That's interesting. Do you remember where you saw that? I did some looking around, and I may have confused ...

I doubt the producers would have been interested in doing a female Bookworm knockoff, especially considering the Bookworm himself never made a second appearance.
