The Clock King obviously. Bill Finger was the man.

Re: Talk Episodes Here
I'LL BE A MUMMY'S UNCLE Tut accidently discovers the Batcave while digging for a precious metal on the new property he bought adjacent to Wayne Manor. Victor Buono is in fine form here as Tut, as are his Tuttlings. There's really a lot of good stuff in this episode! Batman was the star again instea...

Re: Talk Episodes Here
There's one little recycled prop that was always to be found on the Desilu backlot I got a kick out of seeing again. In the first Tut episode of S3 when Batman and Robin fight the goons in front of the "Stadium" there's a boxing poster for "Kid McCook vs. Mike Mason." This same ...

Re: Milton Berle - Why so serious?
Hard to say! Berle had done serious roles on shows like 'The Big Valley' around this time. Maybe he was trying to expand that. At this period & just previously at about the time of 'Twilight Zone', comedians had done well in dramatic roles on television. In Adam West book, Adam said that Berle t...

Burgess Meredith in "Torture Garden" (1967)
I recorded this film on TCM during the glut of old horror movies airing pre-Halloween. Notice anything familiar about Burgess Meredith in this pic? Yeah, me too. The film is an anthology, or portmanteau horror film similar to "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors". If you get a chance, have...

Re: I think I'm softening a bit for the third season
I would also say the last two seasons of The Beverly Hillbillies were miles worse than the earlier seasons. I saw some of those a couple of years ago! They were really kind of bizarre. But I don't think the show ever took the ratings dive that Batman did. And the critics never liked the Hillbillies...

Re: Favorite- joker- riddler or penguin ???
They were all so incredibly good and for very different reasons. And there has never been any question that Gorshin's Riddler was the best interpretation of the character there has ever been, and likely ever will be, however, I still say The Joker. Romero's cold-blooded portrayal of the character in...

Re: I think I'm softening a bit for the third season
My biggest problem with Season Three, something that even Yvonne Craig's vivaciousness cannot distract from, is that all the new sets became "expressionistic" - simply put: crudly-designed set pieces set up infront of a black cyc. If it wasn't for the fact that all the established sets fr...

Re: Bat-villians artwork
Wow, phenomenal job! I may be partial, but The Clock King was extremely well done. And I especially liked The Archer, The Minstrel, The Sandman, Coronel Gumm The Mad Hatter & Egghead. And I wish Eli Wallach's Mr. Freeze had looked that menacing in the episode! And that's also a fantastic take on...

Re: Saw something on the show the other day that I haven't s
I can't recall if the batarang was used at all in the second season. Although I guess it's implied that's it was a part of all the bat climbs or if they got someplace high. Maybe Batman used it to save Robin from Tut's crocodiles. I can't recall. And I believe Batman used it in the courtroom against...

Re: Who played Julie's stunt double?
They look very similar. Too bad Marilyn Watson isn't wearing a catsuit so we could really see how similar they look. She resembles a young Diane Keaton to me. I'm guessing she played Catwoman in the Dr. Cassandra episode. Which would make her the 4th Catwoman. :) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3196...

Re: Question on Return To The Batcave movie
I thought it was very similar to the original, but the material looked slightly inferior. And the cowl was a bit off. The stars, although the fellow playing Batman was more muscular than Adam, and the fellow playing Burt was less so, none of them looked as good in their costumes as the original acto...
