Re: Fox and Warner: massive erasing on Youtube

So, the declaimed "public domain" by the people that sells bootleg copies are nonsense??? Absolutely. I couldn't find a definitive answer on the length of the original copyright, but everything I saw said it is at least 70 years. And copyrights can be extended (or even reinstated if expir...

Re: Fox and Warner: massive erasing on Youtube

Batman, like most TV shows, is copyrighted and owned by someone. Putting these shows up on Youtube is allowing people to see it for free against the owner's wishes. This site doesn't allow people to provide links to those sites for that reason. Fortunately, Batman will be available for purchase soon...

Re: Questions about the show universe

My own take on the subject is that the show is best watched and enjoyed at face value. The show, and I believe even the comics of the era, were not overly concerned with continuity and canon, so to try and apply it now, I believe, kind of skews the picture that the "original artists" pres...

Re: Commodore Schmidlapp

Mwalls, I think you are being a bit hard on the old commodore. I agree that some of the scenes he is are a bit forced, but how would you progress the story without him? Looking for his missing yacht is the reason Batman and Robin fly out to sea in the first place. This leads to all sorts of incident...

Re: Which villain had the best schemes and plots?

To be honest it has been so long since I have seen many of the episodes I don't really recall the specific plots many of the villains had. I remember more of the characters than what they did. Good topic though; I'm surprised more people haven't posted. C'mon guys!

Re: Why the batman needs a cape?

And why does Robin have a cape? And a rather small, fairly useless one at that.

Re: Favorite delivery of a line - Batman movie

There are many great line deliveries in the movie. The first one that came to mind was when Batman was speaking with Vice Admiral Fangschliester about a sale to a P.N. Guin "Disposing a pre-atomic submarines to persons who don't even leave their full addresses... Good day, Admiral!"...

Favorite delivery of a line - Batman movie

One of my favorite deliveries of a line is when Batman and Robin surprise the criminals just after they have dehydrated the United World council. They run into the hallway and Batman yells "Surrender! You [wave=blue] criminals [/wave]!" Batman says the word 'criminals' with the perfect amo...
