I'd sure like to know when this is coming out, because I'm trying to plan future To the Batpoles! episodes and I'd like to know when to plan to review it! haha
I wonder if it'll be launched at New York Comicon again?

http://deconstructingcomics.com/Batpoles/batman1943.jpg To the Batpoles podcast: This time we're digging deep into the 1943 Batman serial, a wartime version with a cringeworthy Japanese villain. How does this Batman compare with the '66 version? We discuss the pros and cons of many aspects of this ...

Very much so! I'd be happy if we had a stack of those to go through, episode after episode of the podcast!

TO THE BATPOLES podcast #52: We can't clam up about The Zodiac Crimes
http://deconstructingcomics.com/Batpoles/zodiac_clam.jpg “The Zodiac Crimes” -- that three-parter with Joker AND Penguin! -- is a favorite arc from our childhood that seared itself into our memories — maybe more than we realized! In this episode we look at why this arc stuck with us, and whether it...

Does anyone know where this album might exist digitally? I found the Batman theme and three other tracks from it on YouTube, but can't find it in its entirety.

TO THE BATPOLES podcast #51: Mad Hatter and the Death of Camp
http://deconstructingcomics.com/Batpoles/radioactivespray.jpg When an extra-foppish Mad Hatter seems to be in on the joke, has Batman '66 pushed camp too far? How much does plausibility matter in comedy? Are those bat-skeletons being signified by a marimba, or a xylophone? Why can’t Batman remove r...

Now that you mention it, I think I have seen one of these overseas-poster red-underwear '66 Batman images before!

TO THE BATPOLES podcast #49: Dr.... Somnambula
http://deconstructingcomics.com/Batpoles/sandman_catwoman.jpg TO THE BATPOLES podcast: The notorious European criminal Sandman is in town - and he’s teamed up with Catwoman! Is that intentional? http://static.comic...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
Given how frequently Catwoman appears in season two, she seemed to check in and out of the penitentiary like it was a hotel! She was probably in costume on her way out the door!

Re: Why did they use the bat poles?
One of our To the Batpoles listeners pointed out that there was a point when they had a batpole (singular) in the comics. She pointed us to Batman #96 in 1955 -- "it was installed to honor Gotham City Firefighters." Assuming Dozier or someone else ran across this issue in the developmental...
