Re: Adam West and Family Evacuated !!!

Tonight on ABC News, thet did a story about the fire and showed a map listing Idaho's rich and famous who dwell there. I was pleased to see they included Mr. West.

Keeping hope and sending good wishes to him, his family, Van Williams, and all those who reside in the affected areas.

Adam West Voices Batman Parody on Animaniacs (Link)

So glad I found this, because the only time that I had seen this broadcast, I was dozing in front of the set and for years thought I had dreamed the whole thing! This morning, I caught it on the Hub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1K4n8AB0KE Note how the Caped Crusader's chest emblem keeps changing...

Great find!

Somehow an electric razor and cologne doesn't compare to a date with Batgirl! ;)

Re: Louie's Lethal Lilac Time: Worst Episode of the Series?

Just watched "Louie's Lethal Lilac Time" and I have to say that it gets my vote for the worst episode of the series. Ellis St. Joseph commented on the producers' commitment to Catwoman in the second season and not knowing how to use her, and I wonder if they were in a similar situation wi...

I would love to offer comments, but I'm waiting for the trade paperback in January. :ugeek:

BTW, issue 4 offers appearances by the Mad Hatter and Clock King!

Re: Season Two One-Shot Most Worthy of Another Episode

Art Carney is a favorite and I've watched him in many roles that spanned his career, but the Archer somehow missed the mark (no pun intended). He gets my vote because another shot may have redeemed him (again no pun intended).

Batman at the 1986 Emmys

Here's a production number of famous tv themes from the 1986 Emmy Awards performed by the stars who brought the shows to life. You can see Adam West quasi-Batusi his way across the stage at about 2:50 into the video. [BBvideo 425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE2qnZi_IHo&feature=player_embe...

Re: The March 26, 1966 Cover of TV Guide

A beautiful cover, to be sure. Several years back, TV Guide reprinted a number of key issues, including this one, identical to the original except for the cardboard centerfold ad insert. They are probably very easy to obtain in nice shape on the secondary market. I miss the old TV Guide. It was a re...

Re: Adam West on PBS, January 29

I enjoyed it despite two mistakes that crept in: 1. At 12:41, when they list the Catwomen, they are showing a picture of Julie Newmar when they mention Lee Meriwether. 2. On the trivia quiz, they identify the Adventures of Superman as having the most episodes (over Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Grea...

Re: News about upcoming Batman Toys

Naturally, the news is exciting, but I'm reserving a Woo-Hoo until we see some pictures from Toy Fair.

One thing that I think is great is that the merchandise will be at different price points from mass merchandising to collector editions. Everyone gets a chance to share the love that way!
