Re: The Colonel Bogus March Part One

Christopher Lee to me would be a great 66 style Ra's Al Ghul. A Batman vs. Dracula would be something in the 66 format. Drac's henchmen would be tux wearing creeps. Funny you should mention Christopher Lee as Ra's Al Ghul; my friend on here Model Builder had mentioned that same casting decision sev...

Re: The Colonel Bogus March Part One

As for Batman vs. Dracula (Christopher Lee), that would probably work in the comic book, but Count Dracula as played by Christopher Lee was a very menacing supernatural being. In the Batman 66 universe, nothing from the paranormal was ever genuine, although for some reason there is a city ordinance ...

Re: The Colonel Bogus March Part One

I had no idea that Bruce Cabot and Frankie Avalon had been suggested to play the Dynamic Duo, but I have to agree with Progress Pigment: I don't think that it would have worked. For one thing, Bruce Cabot would have been to old to play the crime fighter, although I do think he would have made a very...

Re: The Colonel Bogus March Part One

Hi Everybody: Thanks for the comments; you've all brought up some interesting choices. I myself had considered the possibiilty of Bruce Cabot for the role, but I must say, I am LIKING Sterling Hayden as Colonel Bogus had the character appeared in the original incarnation of the show. I must ask: Wha...

The Colonel Bogus March Part One

Hi Everybody! It's been awhile but I began another script from my own "Season Four" of our favorite series. I wrote Part One back in December, and Part Two is just about finished. To our newer members here, Scott Sebring has been kind enough to allow us to post our fan fiction stories here...

Re: Worst Bat Villain Cast

I'm thinking that Gale Sondergaard would have made a menacing Black Widow, especially considering that she played a similar role in one of the Sherlock Holmes movies. That's one of the best guest villain ideas I've heard. Yes, she played the Spider Woman in the Sherlock Holmes film of the same name...

Re: Worst Bat Villain Cast

2. Rudy Vallee as Lord Ffogg. Why they didn't cast an Englishman is anyone's guess. A guy from Vermont isn't the right person to play an English nobleman. Vallee often was using a Cockney accent, which certainly isn't how a lord would sound. James Mason supposedly was interested in doing the show. ...

Though the window cameo died at the end of S2.
One more reason Season 3 isn't as good.

Lord Pfogg and Lady Peasoup were very dull villains, but I blame most of that on the writing itself although there were a few funny m...

Re: ROOM 222/BATMAN Connection?

And let's not forget Judy Strangis as Dyna-Girl which was obviously modeled to be a female version of Robin! Electra-Woman and Dyna-Girl wasn't one of the better shows of my youth, but for SOME REASON I watched it every week...hmmmm.... For that matter as I recall, Michael Constantine also played th...
