Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
The long eared Batman in the Batmobile is a rough mockup-- you can see the sloppy paint in the closeup. The "real" regular Batman will be tooled from the same mold that did the lifesize. As for the Riddlers and the Penguin-- those look like Imaginext figures-- which is a different company....

Re: wish list thread
The middle photo is an actual prototype-- the other two are mockups of existing DC merchandise, the bottom one for example is actually cardboard cutouts-- I saw it in person. Sadly, the line died, but Captain Action has had more lives than any other toy line other than GI Joe so who knows, maybe the...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
Yeah it's a style thing with them, stubby or think like the old ReAction line. I like this body type even better than the ReAction because stubby means sturdy and they'll stand on their own.

Re: Missing footage in the zsa zsa gabor episode
I'm confused here and I wonder if I'm the only one.
The shown footage is from the Dr Cassandra episode, but isn't that Zsa Zsa walking away with the Commish and O'Hara? Is it from the next week trailer?

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
I really like what FTC has done but for some reason there's a disconnect for me with the figures. They are difficult to display because they take up a lot of room, you move Bookworm, his glasses fall off, you move Penguin his cigarette holder falls out and his shirt gets untucked or some other nonse...

Re: wish list thread
Nick definitely had the Batmobile mold and I'm equally certain he had Batman too. Nick is a good friend but I've not spoken to him in a couple of years due to crazy deadlines, but there was a point where he was trying to get the license to re-release the whole Batman Ideal playset. I'd love to see a...

Re: Adam West Reads "The Dark Night Returns".
I think Adam could still pull off a DKR script-- it's a shame they didn't use him instead of Peter Weller for the animated film, even though I thought he did a decent job. The animated film lacked the first person narrative that the graphic novel had, which gave us a chance to see inside Batman's he...

Re: Alex Ross Batman 1966
Cosplay at cons is one of my favorite things-- I don't participate but I love to see them. Batman HAS to be the most represented character after Harley Quinn-- seriously last year at one show friends and I counted 75 Harley's. Another show just had a Harley category. I like when the Batmen mix it up...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
I'm buying three of everything-- one to take out and display, one to keep (provided the packaging is sharp) and one to actually play with! This Batman even in the tiny pic looks SO much better than the Mattel. Love these prototypes, I have faith in Funko-- they do good work. http://i.toynewsi.com/g/...

I'm with my good pal John Mack on these-- I don't see the charm of the Pop Line-- but I know a lot of you do, so expanding the line is good news.
