Re: Those Wacky Citizens of Gotham City

I think it's from the episode where the Joker and his henchmen come alive from busts or statues in the Gotham museum. Batman and Robin go into the curator's office and the curator says something to the affect of what an honor it is to meet Batman. What makes me smile is then he adds, "Ive follo...

"For once, I would like to see Mattel (or another company) produce a 1:50 or 1:18 scale version of that sleek Batmbile from that 60s painting--matching all of its sharp angles and proportions." There won't be any new Batman or DC items from Mattel. They lost the master license to Spin Mast...

Re: BURT WARD"S STAR ON WALK OF FAME_ MY COVERAGE

Not disagreeing here Ben, but I just read an article said Maria Menounos (the woman who does the "noovie" thing before your actual movie starts) was Batgirl. Here's a link...

Re: FUNKO 1966 Batman 18" POP! LE 700 Figure Released and SOLD OUT!!!

The thing with Beanie Babies was that people who didn't even like them were buying them up in the expectation they'd increase in value, and profits would be made. Is that going on with the Pops, too? Because if so, it's gonna get ugly again. Yes, it's certainly going on, and one could say it's gott...

Thanks A.P. I bought the 45 of that Batman Theme years ago, just so I could get that very sound clip lol.

Until the age of about 16, this video would have crushed my dreams. The Batmobile sounds just like a normal car? Say it ain't so lol.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

I looked for that shirt at my Gameshop and couldn't find one. Still, good pick-up, Keith. I've only been in Gamestop a couple of times. I didn't realize they sold toys. I did pick up these two Batman statues while I was there. Yes, the old joke lately is that GameStop is more of a toy store than a ...

I'd assume so. And what piece of the pie do they have over the series since the Fox logo etc still remains attached to the series.

I wish they'd use that vinyl to make realistic looking 66 Batman items as they did with the 3.75" line. Those things all look alike and to me appear to be little children in Halloween costumes. Not my thing but they're "pop"ular I'll give them that.

I was only 4 then, so no memory of that. But I have to say it probably was Adam. There were lots of promotions on the show. I wonder where all the photos and film footage went? Maybe with the all out takes?

Re: So were any of the 66 villians destined to be awful?

As strange as it sounds, I thought The Minstrel was a pretty spooky villain. Those episodes generated some suspense and feeling of doom when the guy came on TV during the episode. The Minstrel was singing and everything but he looked like a real psycho with those jacked up songs. I think the scarie...

Re: Superman: The Movie Anniversary This Sunday 12/15/19

Wow. I too feel old. I went with my mom and we were blown away by everything, special effects, sets, acting, music and plot. I have to say in my older years here, I've become more of a Superman fan than a Batman fan. Yes, it's all due to the 1978 movie. Btw, the Donner cut of SUPERMAN II is wonderfu...
