Re: Villains Appreciation

Hi, Gothamite, You know - I think it was really Gorshin I was talking up before. Truth is, I hated JIm Carrey's version of the Riddler in the 80's movies, and I never really got into the comic books, or anything like that - so it was really Gorshin's portrayal I was so enthused over. I just think Fr...

Re: Villains Appreciation

THe Riddler at #19? Good gravy! Great scott! Holy (I can't think of anything that fits) - you KNOW Joker, Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin ARE the John Paul George and RIngo of Bat villains, with Egghead being one heck of a Billy Preston.

Re: Cool bat moment at school

That's just awesome. It just shows how powerful a straightforward hero can be to a kid. Not an antihero. Not a dark hero. But an honest to goodness Good Guy. I honestly believe the world would be just a little bit better place if our youth were given the proper opportunity to grow up with Batman 66...

Re: Your thoughts on '' Come Back, Shame ''

I thought Cliff Robertson was just great in the role and he was one of the scarier villains, so brutal to our heroes. I remember jumping when Robin got shot during an ambush. It wasn't until later on I realized his name was a parody of "Shane". For a villain that was created specially for ...

Re: If A Comedic Batman Were Made Today, Who Would You Cast?

[quote="Brad Pittiful"]i listed just the villains who were in the TV show dana gould as robin Uh, maybe 10 years ago - I googled this guy, not knowing who he is, and --- yeah, 10 years ago. I think unknowns should be cast as Batman and Robin if any such project were undertaken. There's no ...

Re: Joker's Moustache - To Airbrush Or Not To Airbrush?

No, I wouldn't want it airbrushed. I didn't notice it at first, then I heard about it, looked for it afterward, spotted it, thought, "uh-huh", then just went on watching the episode. It adds character, like the runs in Burt's tights.

CATheterization - or maybe he calls on all his inner resources to resist the urge, much like he did with Marsha's love dart.

Re: If "1966" was ever released on DVD.....

PS: I hope we don't have to wait until mind implant chips take over the market LOL LOVE that idea - that way, all we'd have to do was think of a certain episode and it would play and we'd be the only ones who could see it - great for the commuter train, but I wouldn't recommend it while driving - no...

Re: Audio Burgess Meredith interview about playing The Pengu

Thanks for the post - I just heard the interview and it was funny, especially when Meredith kept imitating himself doing the quack. I also loved the blog's layout. Nice stuff - I remember 16 Magazine, and was always sending in for those giveaways from which I never profited - I think the last one I ...
