Re: Holiday Gift!

That's such a pitch-perfect photo of GH; it captures just the kind of character the GH was, and he was to be taken seriously. I love that!

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #212: That’s no bat, boy, that’s Captain Nice!

Fascinating analysis of a...well, horrible show, guys, and yes, I've punished myself by watching a couple of episodes thanks to my friend who bought a VHS of a few episodes at a comic convention in the '90s! While Captain Nice brought some really funny moments, it failed to catch on with audiences. ...

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome

To each his own, but for me spending two grand on a Batmobile to carry Mego figures is like buying a solid gold picture frame to display "Dogs Playing Poker." Well put! I agree that a screen-accurate Batmobile is utterly out of place with any 8-inch figure, whether its the original or new...

Re: Glynis Johns-RIP

She had a long, memorable career, but one of her standouts is not the first film anyone thinks of when discussing her career: "The Neat Job" , the second segment from the Amicus' second adaptation of EC's horror comics, the 1973 anthology The Vault of Horror : 17:58 - 32:30 Johns was both ...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES! #211: Holy overbooking! The Late Show’s Batman reunion

Guys, I enjoyed your look back at the Late Show , which I watched as a first-run episode. That said, I do you guys are a bit too hard on Ross Shafer and the staff of The Late Show for not being up on facts about the '66 series. I think its important to remember a few things about talk shows and cast...

Not sure about board policy of resurrecting ancient threads, but I wanted to share this 1966 publicity photo of Van Williams reading Green Hornet Comics #24 (May, 1945). https://i.imgur.com/cDLXEn7.jpg Bat-66 fans are very aware of Greenway going on to use this sort of promotion in 1967 with Yvonne ...

Yeah, the lower half of the face looks nothing like Meredith's. The mouth, cheeks and teeth could be based on anyone other than Meredith.

Really? One of the online 1:6 scale dealers recently said (last week) the B&R box set would see a second run during the 2nd quarter of 2024.

Some of these A.I. apps are amazing. Either you like it, or you don't. Me? I Love it but not sure if ok to talk about it here? Here's what I saw. see attached Interesting, but one cannot get around the video-gamey artificiality of the A.I. work. that, and Robin appears too tall and too old. Maybe a...

Re: 3D Batlogo redux WIP

I designed a logo like this in the past, but I wanted a redo since I have added to my skills. This has a better face and dimensional background folds. This is the sculpt design, I haven't actually printed it yet. I am looking into the cost of getting a large one routed out of signfoam would be. Hav...

Re: Kato 3D head and mask WIP

I've been 3D printing for a few years now but most of my designs have been mechanical shapes and the organic shapes have been eluding me until now. I have been practicing in a sculpting program called Nomad sculpt on my IPad and I'm starting to get a hang of it. This is my 1st attempt at making a K...
