Re: A possible fourth season of Batman.

I like some of those suggestions for a fourth season; but I'd have kept Robin as a regular and had Batgirl as an occasional special guest star. Aside from the Filmmation, Superfriends, and 70s Batmite cartoons, most iterations of Batman have him without Robin; it would be refreshing to have returned...

Re: What's the deal with 1966 Penguin?

A couple points. Although Burgess Meredith's depiction of the Penguin was excellent, he's of my least favorite villains on the show. I just didn't care for the majority of the Penguin stories. While I think they went the Penguin goes straight route too often, the episodes when he runs for mayor, are...

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread

I could see Burt getting burned by the fireworks but the tigers seem unlikely, it's like using a real shark in the motion picture. I suppose it could've happened but it seems doubtful.

Re: Fox and Warner: massive erasing on Youtube

At the same time, I appreciate the people who uploaded episodes to youtube for everyone to enjoy while the proper episodes languished.

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread

Regarding the Hat Mezmerizer and Robin; I figure he was just stunned since he was hit with the beam's reflection and not the full energy. It was enough to leave him helpless but awake. The criminals then knocked him out and tied him to the horse to keep him out of the way. Joker's high school scheme...

Re: Fox and Warner: massive erasing on Youtube

I also think "praise" is over-the-top. They're just delivering a product.

As per youtube, I was surprised to see so many episodes gone but it makes sense they'd remove them. I wonder how detailed this release will be...commentaries? Scripts? Storyboards? Concept art? Interviews?

The 66 logo is great and fits the opening animation perfectly. I particularly like the bat-ears on the letter A's.

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread

I love the Londinium Episodes and here are a few reasons why. 1) The villains. Yes, fog isn't the greatest gimmick but I truly enjoy Lord Ffogg's smugness. From the first moment he encounters the Dynamic Duo he acts as if they are truly beneath his notice and treats them with contempt all the way th...

Re: 60's vs. 90's films

Interesting. SPOILERS FOR NOLAN FILMS: I just realized that except for a bit of Bane that is a lie anyway, these movies don't spend time on the villains' origins, which I think is a good thing. Oh, except for Two-Face but his is connected to the actions of the Joker. While I think Michael Keaton did...

Re: Who would you cast on a Batman show now?

Yes, I pretty much agree with High C. Also, what is enjoyable to me, is the 66 show is a place where you can get the classic Dynamic Duo. In most other shows and comics, you either don't get Robin or it's not Dick Grayson. Any type of fun revamping of the show would, for me, include Robin as he was ...

Re: Which villain had the best schemes and plots?

I'm going to separate my opinion of the episodes from the plots, so what follows aren't necessarily my favorite episodes, but just the villains that seemed to have the best schemes and in no particular order: The Siren----only Batgirl's appearance saved the day. Bruce was totally mind controlled, an...
