Re: Green Hornet comes to DVD too!

The hold up for any official DVDs has been Green Hornet, inc., they simply want a larger cut than 20th Century Fox is willing to give. Bruce's estate has nothing to do with it. This has been reported on a couple of the home theater forums. This is the same thing holding up any "official" ...

Re: The 4th Season NBC Myth

In later years, some shows that were hits originally flopped big time in syndication because they had bad last seasons that no one wanted to watch the reruns of (the last year of "Welcome Back Kotter" and the post-Freddie Prinze episodes of "Chico And The Man" come to mind). May...

Re: New Adam & Burt Animated BATMAN movie

Interesting. Short of a live action reunion, an animated film is a nice way to celebrate B-1966 at 50, and the format has the luxury of adding everything from the live action show to things only dreamed about, but too costly for the series. Music is a concern. At this point, I'm wondering about the ...

Re: Scary Villians

I never found any of the villains scary at all. Others have mentioned False Face, but he--along with the score composed for that episode--made him seem strange, like some throwback villain, but certainly not frightening.

Re: Any Molls Strong Enough To Be On Their Own?

I could've seen Molly taking over the Mole-Hill Mob! She was never as subornant or adoring to the Riddler as say Pauline. They should've brought her back, masked, then Batman could've been shocked when it dropped off. Much like he had been with Catwoman in the movie. Ultimately, Molly broke the sec...

Re: Any Molls Strong Enough To Be On Their Own?

Lady Prudence. She was cunning, wise beyond her years, and could run a crew of her own, if she had the chance. She was one of the rare molls that was more interesting than the main villain. She would have been that strong counter to Robin (thanks to her interest in him), sort of falling between the ...

Re: Question about the S2 Catwoman episodes

The easy fix is to place the movie sometime after CW's season two debut. After that, her appearances--and stints in jail are no different to continuity than any other villain. That's the point you shouldn't have to do that. You didn't need to for Penguin, Joker, and Riddler. Shouldn't have to prete...

Re: Question about the S2 Catwoman episodes

If not, then puuurrrhaps Scat Darn Catwoman should've been the end, since for a little while, even though he was acting, Catwoman had the feeling of what it would be like if Batman were on her side and in love with her and since she plummets to her death, a nice bookend to her first appearance on t...

Re: Question about the S2 Catwoman episodes

OP: there was direct continuity between Catwoman's season 1 episodes (with her suggested death), and Gordon's "alive" statement in her season 2 return. Continuity was a bit solid at that time. I think it's the 1966 movie that threw that off. The first season 2 Catwoman episode has Gordon t...

Re: Do you prefer the cliffhanger episodes or the resolution

For example, in Batman and Robin, the duo run into an airplane and the plane immediately exploded. In the next part we saw that the duo immediately ran out of the other side of the plane before he explosion. Kind of lame actually. If that was the 1949 serial, then yes, it was lame. They were just g...

Re: Do you prefer the cliffhanger episodes or the resolution

1st season Cliffhangers and resolutions were more balanced in terms of quality--I found myself just as satisfied with the resolution in that year than the rest of the series. Thanks to the producers thinking viwered were all about the punch-up at the end, cliffhangers in S2 lost some of the advantag...
