Re: Model Kit Help Needed

Hey Jim I take all of the kit pieces and I spray them with a base coat. Lay them all out in a well ventilated area, then apply a light coat several times over letting each coat dry before the next, now you have something for the paint to stick to. Re: Model Kit Help Needed

Glue: I have always preferred the plastic glue in tubes (Testors), but liquid brush on glue works well too. It really depends on which one can you apply without making a mess. The liquids I have used are like water and you apply with a brush. I find they run more than I like. Paint: I always though...

Re: Hallmark Bat Ornaments

Total respect for your opinions. I am quite honestly happy for your own happiness with it. My concern is that this may be the end of the '66 ornaments and we wouldn't get another new character. When they went to "Limited Edition" on them, I figured the line was heading toward the finish li...

Model Kit Help Needed

For the past year or so I've been doing jigsaw puzzles (and a few Lego sets) to stop myself from falling asleep on the couch while wtaching TV in the evenings. Now I'd like to try my hand at a model kit, specifically the Moebius Batman '66 model . Bat-Model.jpg Now, it's been a long, long time since...

Re: Hallmark Bat Ornaments

With great respect to Eartha, I'm going to abstain from picking that one up. For me, it's double-dipping on a character I already have as an ornament--there are so many other characters they could have done. My guess is that Hallmark doesn't see anything past The Big Four of villains as "recogn...

Re: The Bat-Books are BACK IN BAT! (For Real!)

We're just starting to get reviews for the new editions of The Subterranean Blue Grotto Essays on Batman 66 ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R34H2UQWNY1CUI ), but we lost a lot of them when the previous editions went away. We'd appreciate some new reviews, chums, as well as repostings of...
