Re: TO THE BATPOLES #146: An Early Batman '66 Fan Film, Revealed!

Wow, Chris, how on earth did you find this?? High school yearbook section of that Classmates site. Several 1966 annuals from various schools have had photos of Batman sketches in various pep assemblies or variety shows, including my alma mater Glenbrook South (eight years before my freshman year): ...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #146: An Early Batman '66 Fan Film, Revealed!

Great fun! Although the narrator sounds more like Tom Lehrer than Desmond Doomsday  I dug into the 1966 Washburn High School yearbook, and found no info on the fanfilm - not surprising since it probably went to press just before the film was shot. - However! - Batmania had already taken hold at...

Re: SCRIPT: Batman: The Movie

I'd like to think Adam saw the bomb line and suggested it be used onscreen! Way too good to leave in the stage directions.

Re: BATMAN TV SHOW PRESS BOOK

It's also available as a .pdf from Script City for less than a tenth of that price.
Note a couple errors: the Joker second half listed as "The Grisley (sic) Ghoul, He Meets His Match", and Michael Rennie listed - twice - as "Mr. Sandman", like the song by the Chordettes.

Re: Batman scripts

I have since gotten the Bookworm and Curse of Tut scripts; unfortunately the latter is missing the last 25% or so - it cuts off shortly before the second kidnapping of Bruce/Batman. Some scripts are listed as missing pages, but not this one. I contacted them last month and asked for another copy, or...

Re: Batman scripts

Finished with the St. Joseph Sandman script. Better than the final, final one? In some places. In others, eh... There is a rather dark twist near the end which I can see why it was changed - although it wouldn't be a good enough reason for the rewrite it got. Still, Tim and Paul have the script, so ...

Re: Batman scripts

Thank you for that tip, Mr. Glee! Just picked up the "Death in Slow Motion" and "The Sandman Cometh" scripts and I'm reading through them. DISM is listed as the final script dated March 7, 1966, I'd say about 95% matching the show as aired, and TSC is, surprisingly, the final dra...

Hey guys - a little late but thanks so much for the Doh Prize! I've given it a place of honor in my home:

At least she was good in that silent bit where she gasses the ribbon-bound cameraman to sleep, and dismisses him with a little shrug - "hmm - whatever"
