Re: Batman 1966 Japanese Sonorama
Wow! Love these! Amazing graphics! When I was in Mandarake in Shibuya last year (six floors underground and loaded with AMAZING collectibles) they had a Showa with Adam West on the cover-- I couldn't bring myself to shell out the $200USD for it but man was it tempting. Makes me think it's time to go...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
TRU will most likely, they carry the other Funko action figures. Essentially, if a store is currently carrying the Suicide Squad set they made then they will likely have these. I looked into opening a wholesale account with them but my understanding is I need to order some of those POP figures with ...

Was the WW crossover bad? << and I understand most of them were not great, I've not read it as I wait until its released in hardcover before I'm disappointed

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
The playset I'd like to see-- it might be a little small for the Batmobile, but it'd be great if they re-released the Ideal Batcave set. I think this is where my figures will be displayed. I'd love something along the lines of what FTC are doing Batcave-wise for this 4" series. The FTC Batcave...

Re: WS2 chest emblem lot on eBay
Shipping is silly for an item that could easily be put in an envelope with some thick cardboard.

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
IMG_1310.JPG All right have them in hand-- and I have to say I like them very much. I don't think the ball joint neck was needed but it's there if you decide to have them batclimb. Batman is slightly taller than Funko's SUPERMAN and you can see the old Funko ROCKETEER is still bigger than the rest....

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
Absolutely. There was no issue with me "playing with dolls" when I was a kid, although I know my dad must have given me a look at some time. My issue with it was the play value-- you toss a Mego off your porch into the yard and he loses his gloves, a boot and his belt, and the suit tears. ...

Re: '49 Serial Filming Locations?
I believe it's off of Benedict Canyon Drive.
The house that they used for Hamel's Mansion was the George Lewis Mansion.
A quick check of IMDB backs both of those up, for what it's worth.

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
That's EXACTLY the charm of these for me. I've already got my Neca and Hot Toys for pretty close to lifelike appearances. I really disliked the Mattel line, they were really flimsy, the joints were weak and the 6" size action figure has little charm for me. I grew up with Megos and I loved the ...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
Here's a side by side comparison between the prototype and what Crayfish posted. Colors are different, the sculpt for the actual figure is slightly softer and lacks the wrinkles of the costume but most notable difference is Batman's face. This is often the case with prototype to actual product varia...

There's silly (pictured above) there's funny (Surf's Up episode) and there's bad (Legends).

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!
I like the blockier look of the prototype figures more than the photos of the in hand, but I'm reserving my whining until I actually have these in hand (tracking now). From the photos Batman looks a bit more round headed than I'd like but we'll see. I like them regardless and I'm impressed with the ...

I'm delighted that they abandoned the cloth capes-- I never liked the way they looked with Mattel.
The pics look great-- looking forward to the line!

Re: MORE from the Bradford Exchange! You aren't gonna believe it!
It's silly-- they try to save money by taking the stock shots of other products but then go to the effort of having it rendered together-- it wouldn't be much more to just have an original produced.
