Re: Dick Sprang's Bat Suit

As far as the oval goes, how much lead time did ABC have on the show? The show began in January of '66, so most of the screen testing took place in '65, at the latest. What month of '64 did the yellow oval first appear? :)

Re: George Sanders as Mr. Freeze

Having Batman be responsible for Mr. Freeze's condition may have been part of the way they skirted around Two-Face. Batman always felt responsible for what happened to Harvey Dent, and without having his frightening visage on TV, may have been the way to go with that. It also showed the kids that Ba...

I was a 6-year-old in '68, and whenever the ABC promos said "That Girl" ALSO heard "Batgirl!" ;)

Re: The Sea Hag Now STOPS! (Permanently!) Part Two

GorshinRomero, using our friends' and enemies' names in our English stories was the best way for comicbook fans to get the last laugh! ;) Hey, I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for a master criminal genius to be my new leader! I can be a henchman for as long as you like! LOL :) As for the chumbucket line, m...

So, in the Archer episode, Commissioner Gordon WAS right! Batman should have eaten all of his vegetables! ;)

Re: How Old is Robin supposed to be?

Andy, I remember a reviewer saying in 1989 (the year I first bought and viewed the two serials) that Croft would have been a perfect Nightwing.

As far as O'Donnell went, I can only imagine the movie makers wanted someone who'd get teenage girls into the theater seats.

Re: The Sea Hag Now STOPS! (Permanently!) Part Two

This is kind of an odd first comment on someone's fan fiction, but even though I haven't read this and just skimmed part one, I think it was a very generous and kind use of your creativity. cheers Thanks for your kind words. BTW---did you notice when the Sea Hag mentions you? Reminds me of how I'd ...

I like to think Robin would've said "INTO THE CHUM BUCKET!" instead. ;)

Thank you, Gorshin Romero, for including me here! :)

An' this is so everyone here can pronounce my name. Think of a dog's growl, and what you'd pass to the cute girl sitting in front of you in English class.

GRR-note

THAT'S how ya pronounce "Gernot."

Thanks again! :D

Re: Robin

They complimented each other very well. "Nice cape, ol' chum!" "Why, THANK you, Batman! And your cowl seems ESPECIALLY pressed today!" (Sorry, I couldn't resist that.) :) If you REALLY want to see a Robin on top of things, you should see the 1943 and 1949 serials. Robin saved Ba...
